I recently purchased these napkins to use for entertaining. I recently used 5 of them and then washed them in cold water, gentle cycle. They are not color-fast. The “natural” color bled out of the napkins leaving them streaked and spotted. They are not colorfast; I had to discard all 5 napkins.

These are the napkins I've been looking for!
I hesitated at the price, but the cheaper napkins I've tried have all been disappointing, so I went for it. I'm happy to say they're well worth the cost. Color/weight/softness are just right, and the hemstitch detail is nice. They hold their shape beautifully after laundering — but you will have to iron them (of course, they're linen). Highly recommended.

Quality linen napkins
These are really beautiful napkins, superior to any I've ever had . Color is darker than expected but I washed in regular detergent and added Biz and fabric softener and after ironing them am very pleased with result. Shrinkage is at minimum, washed in warm water, dried to damp stage then ironed them slightly damp.
