This is a nice sturdy little chair for when you do not want to lug around a larger chair, my only complaint would eb the bag started to rip the first day I took this chair out. To be fair, it was a all day rain event and the bag may not have stood a chance anyways.

This is one of the cheapest stools I could find and as a cheap stool it is "OK". I am 5'10" 175lbs aka a medium size man. I took this stool on a 29 day trip and it broke about halfway through. The screws that hold it together are simply pathetic. For the price I think they could do better, but it is still the cheapest stool available.This stool IS GOOD FOR children under 10 years old and/or keeping your bags off the ground. I always keep my bags off the ground and I should have kept this as a gear stool only. In fact I have repaired it with zip-ties and I still use it for my back pack.This stool IS NOT GOOD FOR prolonged or rough use by anyone over, probably, 10 years old. It started slouching and stretching almost immediately from when I started sitting on it. I was sitting on it when it broke. Not when I sat down, but I had been seated for a while. I've sat in it since using zip ties and I think the zip ties are stronger than the screws in it.In all, I think for the money it could be built better and for that reason I deduct stars. If you want something cheap to keep your bags up or something for your 5-9 year old to sit in, sometimes, while fishing then it's OK for that. I would not buy it again but I'm not mad that I bought it, either.

Given my weight and some of the reviews, I didn't expect us to hold up for long which was unfortunately the case. Not shown in the pictures ,but the original plastic caps that held the sitting cloth in place eventually failed and I tried to reinforce it with another simple screw on each, but that didn't cut it either.So I decided to go the more drastic route and use some spare bolts, nuts and washers to replace them outright and reinforce them. Now the only problem seems to be that the grommet holes on each corner seems to be failing which I'm fine with since the outer stitching should keep that intact.If you're quite heavy (+200 lbs) then I wouldn't recommend this unless you're willing to do some potential DIY work to reinforce / fix it.

I bought this with the sole purpose of using it as a foot stool. I currently have a folding rocking chair and sometimes, I just need to put my feet up while I’m reading on my front porch. This works great. It’s short enough, it’s lightweight, the legs are metal, and the seat material seems durable. The only drawback is that like most folding chairs, it starts to collapse in on itself like a dying star when there is only weight in the middle. If there was a locking mechanism for the legs, I would give this little guy five stars.

The chair is well made. Folds and unfolds easy. And is sturdy.I am 5’10” weight 150 lbs. 68 years old.The chair is comfortable to sit in and it feels balanced when sitting.Doesn’t tip or rock.Easy enough to get up by putting your hands on your knees.If you are a large person who has trouble getting up. This might not be the chair for you.But it’s built good enough to hold a large person. Very stable. And well made. And should last a long time.It’s light weight and with the bag it is very portable.I give it 5 starsAnd would purchase it again.
