I’ve tried many different eye masks over the years, but this one is by far the best! It blocks out an impressive 100% of light, if positioned correctly. Sometimes a small amount seeps in where the nose flap is, but readjusting the mask fixes that. The comfort level is outstanding—I can even open my eyes without my eyelashes touching the mask! I initially thought it would be heavier, but the weight is just perfect. I highly recommend this eye mask to anyone looking for a good night’s sleep or relaxation, and I will definitely be purchasing more as gifts. Although it doesn’t come with washing or cold compress instructions in the package, I received an email after my purchase with all the details. Below are instructions from the email: Cold Compress Instructions: 1. Place the eye mask in the freezer at -0.4°F for min 1 hour, extend the time according to personal preference. You can store it in the freezer and take it out when needed. 2. Use time: The cooling eye mask can stay cold for 10 minutes, and the best therapy time is approximately 10 minutes, recommended by a doctor. If you need a cold compress for longer, you can extend the time of the eye mask in the freezer. 3. Storage: When you freeze the eye mask in the freezer, place it in a sealable bag to isolate the fridge odor. We suggest washing the sleep mask before first use for more softness and comfort. This is unbelievable! Blocks all light, darkest eye mask I’ve ever used. I’m a side/stomach sleeper, it’s always a challenge to find an eye mask that Is not only comfortable, but also blocks all light when my face is smooshed in my pillow, but this has it all! Super comfy and zero light. I have a rather small head so fit is a non issue, not sure how this would fit if you have a large head. I also use a cpap and it works perfect over cpap. In fact I think it helps block cpap mask leaks that blow in my eyes iykyk.

I got this sleep mask because my Husband is in Grad School currently and spends time after I go to bed at his desk in our bedroom working on homework/studying. I am autistic and even small disruptions in my sleep schedule can lead to a rough night's sleep, and as I have to get up early for work it is NOT fun. Enter this weighted sleep mask. There are some pros: *This mask blocks out all the light and has eye "hollows" that keep your eyelashes from being squished and feeling awkward. *The mask itself is of good quality and feels durable and soft, even after nearly 5 months of use. *The strap is adjustable, making it easy to fit the mask to your head properly. The Cons: *For a weighted mask, it is just meh. If you are a side sleeper the weight pushes on whichever nostril is facing the ceiling, making you feel as though your nose is stuffed. *Additionally, the mask sits weirdly if you sleep on your side and you need to adjust it some. *The band in the back also moves some; and you need to play with the strap in order for it to not feel as though it is sliding down the back of your head or sliding towards the top. *The fabric over the nose portion has to be smoothed down in a specific way, or some light leaks in from your nasal area slightly. Its a decent mask for someone who doesn't get as fixated on details as I do as an Autistic, and I will continue to use it because I refuse to be wasteful and trash a perfectly good sleep mask. That being said, this mask occasionally impacts my ability to sleep soundly. Last night 3/12/24, and at least 10 nights before that randomly, I will have the mask on and only drift on the edge of sleep for 2+ hours until my husband comes to bed and I remove the mask (as the lights are turned off). Basically this mask is 50/50 for me. It helps me sleep some days, and other days I feel like it's doing nothing but keeping my brain in a state where it cannot completely fall asleep until its taken off. Weigh my pros and cons with other reviews before you decide to purchase this item.

No light comes through this eye mask, unlike others I have tried. The lightly weighted mask is comfortable, with an adjustable, wide elastic band. It travels well and is made well from quality materials. Easy to hand wash and takes about 24 hours to air dry. Recommend!!!

Very comfortable to wear, they really block out the light from your eyes, they adjust easily, the material is soft and they are lightweight.

I slept so well last night I’m genuinely surprised. I’ve never been able to wear a mask because the pressure of the band gives me headaches. This one is adjustable and so comfy. My lashes don’t touch the mask, which is another big +. It’s completely black out dark, and the slight weight to it had me sleep nine hours straight last night. 10/10

Maybe it’s just me but even when really tight it never stays in my head through out the night. They’re comforters it’s on and feels like a nice quality but I haven’t found it helped any of the stuff it said it would. So I only recommend if you’re looking for a comfortable sleep mask.
