Letters From Paris is like receiving a perfectly wonderful gift!
I just finished Letters From Paris and I feel as if Juliet Blackwell gave me a perfectly wonderful gift in writing this book! The story has many enticinglayers-- about love, about the search for one's place, about "putting back the pieces" after tragedy and catastrophe. The author weaves infascinating information about death masks and Cajun culture and World War II and Paris without ever becoming laborious. The main character is a delight-- funny and spunky and outspoken and brave. ...And the scenes where Armand cooks for Chance? I could practically taste the roast duck!!! (Why is it so sexy when a man cooks for a woman and takes the time to artfully arrange the table? Sigh!)This book defies category. It is more than a woman's book, more than historical fiction, more than a romance. I have followed Juliet Blackwell books all along the way but this one is her most luscious! It has surprises and turns and ends on a hopeful note about the strength of the human spirit. One last thought~ I can envision a powerful and beautiful movie from this story! It is that good of a book!!!

Wonderful Read
This was an enchanting book and the addition of art work was a huge plus. I loved the story and I loved the pictures of places around Paris. I would recommend this book to everyone, but now think that it would be better in hard cover than on Kindle. I love reading on my Kindle, but missed being able to see the art work. Great book - thanks~

Just beautiful!
Oh my gosh, one of the best books I've ever read. I was introduced to Blackwell's writing through her paranormal cozy mysteries, and while I adore them, this book, in a different genre, hits it out of the ballpark for me. It has so many layers, and so much emotion. The overlapping storylines of Sabine and Claire come together so beautifully. The mystery of “L’Inconnue” is poignant, and the author has done a wonderful job of coming up with a possible and satisfying ending for The Unknown Woman, may she rest in peace. I'm very much looking forward to reading more of Juliet Blackwell's stories.

Letters from Paris
I am reading this book now. I am about half way through it now and enjoying it very much. I just read The Paris Keys and The Lost Carousel of Provence prior to starting this book. I loved them both! They are both page turners and I have found a new author to enjoy.

Major surprises in this book!
Loved, loved this book. Read the second half straight through. I really like a past and present story line with a mystery involved. Really liked the main characters and hoping for some happiness for them. The two major twists were totally unexpected! I will not be recycling this book, it is a keeper to read again

Intriguing but not always believable
I love the premise of this book, and I love Paris as a setting, but sometimes the current day story was just not plausible. Like a rom com without the right actors—enjoyable but missing the sparkle.

Loved it!
I am a fan of historical fiction and the beautifully written Letters from Paris kept me enthralled throughout my non-stop read. I loved everything about it...the locales, the well-developed characters, and the imaginative storyline. I appreciated the way Juliet Blackwell included the sensitive issues of alcoholism, abuse and abandonment. I highly recommend Letters from Paris.
