I needed to replace my Wahl Designer clipper bc they finally stopped cutting good. Wanted to stick w/Wahl so I could use all of the same guards and accessories I’ve accumulated over the years.Read Amazon reviews on this one and I can just tell these would be perfect ! I am OVERJOYED at how amazing these cut. They don’t hesitate even when sliding them through the thick, coarse, curly hair of some of my clients. They literally glide through it. I am pleased and will buy this exact clipper again a thousand times!I do about 20 or so clipper cuts a week. Nothing excessive. But as with anyone who cuts hair , you know that clippers eventually lose their oomph and they start running loud (even after oiling the blades ). I can just tell that these will last a long time. They just have that quality feel to them!

Been cutting hair for about 15 years, former military and I fade my own still. Never professionally, but those that lived a barracks life know how it goes, and my cuts always passed inspection.Cut mine with about a week's growth and really a step up from my previous set. The blades are adjustable below 0 for those of us that that are so inclined. Also comes with a 0.5 and 1.5 gaurd. First time I've seen that. My 3rd wahl and so far so good. The last set was the cheap crap duo set from wally world. Dropped em once and the blade is uneven and broke a tooth. Cord is more heavy duty on this set. And the grippiness of the body is good to go. Ran off/on for about 20 minutes and didn't get hot. Fade came out really nice and didn't have any hang ups. Used on beard too with no problems or pulls.

I’m a professional cosmetologist and I’ve been using these clippers for years and they are the best. They are not loud at all which is great for kids and very fast. I do 35-40 cuts a day and they never get hot and the blades last a long time. Just make sure ur cleaning and disinfecting them and oil them they should last a very long time. My last pair lasted about 10 years. I replace the blades every 6 -9 months
