Arlo Pro 2 camera and base station does not work as defined
i am using Arlo pro 2 camera and base station. i am not able to configure continuous recording and adding additional camera. i call support and call go to some country, they can not understand question and i have to repeat all details several times. they will put u on holed many times and come back with excuse that internet is slow, they are busy, where did u purchase, serial number. after giving all details twice, problem is not resolved. i created many tickets and no luck. this product does not work as expected. i wasted my time buying this product.

My old base station was fried by a lightening strike induced power surge. So #1: Please seriously consider buying yourself a good surge protector for all your electronic equipment. #2: I had a lot of trouble trying to get the new base station to connect with the Internet (the light on the front kept flashing orange). So I changed the cable from the base station to my smart modem and I also changed the port the base station was plugged into on the modem. This seems to have fixed the problem as it is all working fine now.

Base didn’t work. Wire was broken, charger was vandalize. Not sure why this was even shipped to me.

I needed to add another camera to my group, so I took my time to investigate my many options. I kept coming back to the Arlo Essential camera. Like my other Arlo camera's it was up and running within minutes. I have had my other Arlo cameras for years. This new Essential camera is awesome! This is my first camera with two way sound and...it identifies animals from humans! I enjoy the animal alerts I get from it. Completely wireless, no power cords, and a charge that last over a month. Completely satisfied and would recommend to anyone. Go getcha some Arlos!
