I already have a set of setup blocks from Veritas that I was only marginally happy with, so given the discounted price for these, I decided to try it out, and was pleasantly surprised. I measured each block, both ends (and all ends for the 1-2-3 block), with a set of Husky digital calipers. The calipers are precise to 0.0005" and I trust their accuracy. These blocks were accurate beyond what I could measure with the calipers. Whatever the decimal value of a fraction worked to be, the calipers either reported it exactly or rounded up or down, meaning these blocks are machined more precisely than my calipers can read. So in otherwords, these are at least 5 ten thousandths of an inch or better accuracy. I'm not a machinist so I can't speak to that level of tolerance, but for any kind of woodworking these are more than sufficient. What I think I like most about these is the thickness direction is also easily identified via the side with an arrow. One of the major grievances I have with my Veritas blocks is they do not identify the side that is supposed to be referenced, so when you get close to the 1/2" size, it's a guessing game as to which side is the right one unless you take a moment to look carefully or measure. With these, they are clearly marked, and the 1/2 block is 1/2" on the money on the correct direction, and just 0.0005" over on the other direction, so either direction is acceptable if you need a half inch reference. The other thing I disliked about the Veritas blocks is the thinner ones are curved in the short direction The 1/32th and 1/16th Veritas blocks were made of extruded aluminum, whereas these EANOSIC blocks are machined dead flat. That means they are accurate from center to edge, whereas the Veritas ones are off +/- 20 thousandths due to the curve. And yet another thing that this EANOSIC set does better is the case it comes in. The Veritas ones come in separate cases and the foam was falling apart and not holding them in place. This set is well packaged, and the case is a proper storage case for them. While it doesn't have as many blocks as the complete Veritas set has, it has all the important ones, including nominal 3/4 ply and nominal 1/2 ply. Very happy with this purchase, and I HIGHLY recommend it over the Veritas set.

Accurate and competitively priced.

I purchased this set 4 months ago and now wish I'd got one years ago. There are a lot of similar and less expensive options out there but after much reviewing, the Eanosic appeared to have the best reviews at a reasonable price. These blocks did not disapoint; all are 100% accurate fractionally and within a few thou digitally. Perfect for my needs with my wood working hobby. If you need greater accuracy I would suggest that you should expect to pay much more. Can't say how much I like these blocks. I keep finding more and more uses for them (not unexpected), saving me time, making set ups way easier, faster and generally improving my work. Highly recommend and certainly worth paying extra for the 15 piece set.
