This is an amazing thing to do with your kids. If you want to get closer or even get to know them please consider this. Be prepared to get to know whomever you play with. It is very easy to play and explains the rules. The color is an amazing teal color and the packaging is very durable. Fits really in many carry on bags and takes up very little space.

Great family game. Eye opening. Soul touching. Thought provoking game. Be ready to speak and hear the truth. It really opens the door for much needed conversations. While there may be some laughter while playing it's not haha funny game night game. Take it seriously, you won't be disappointed. Include age appropriate kids, you'll be surprised at how they really feel about certain things.

Love the concept of these cards. Definitely be ready for answers you might not be expecting- and go into it with am open mind! Its a nice variety of cards and a good value for what you get. Overall, a great bonding experience.

Fun game to play with family and friends! I initially purchased to use during chemo treatments with my son, but now I also keep a pack in my glove compartment for car rides, purse for restaurants, and even on the coffee table to use whenever I want to strike up engaging conversation! The questions are thought provoking, and can be a little serious at times. But in these more serious moments I find myself bonding more with the ones around me. I've also used the dating pack by this brand and found it to be a blast as well! That one is a go to, especially with people I meet online because it's a great way to get to know someone without all the awkwardness. :) Overall 5 starts for value, quality and uniqueness.

We LOVE this, well, my 7-year-old daughter and I love this. It's like our thing now, we randomly pick one card every other night and take turns answering them. Some questions are a little bit too deep for her age, but I can definitely see us grow into it. We went through some questions I knew she was not too comfortable answering at first, but our rule is we have to answer them honestly, and I love her answer every single time! I know so much about her through this "game" THANK YOU!

TL;DR: Go into this game knowing the limits of what your own family can handle and it will end up being an enlightening experience. Some of these questions are so great—you get into conversations with your family and learn things about them—their biggest fears, their aspirations, their values, a funny memory—that deepen your connection to one another. Understanding someone better leads to loving someone better, and that’s an awesome thing. And then there are the questions that only the healthiest family could make it through without anyone feeling wounded. Ones that ask you to evaluate one another or ones that leave room to be critical, play victim roles, etc. If your family is prone to wounding and feeling wounded, there are going to be plenty of cards it’s better to just skip. I guess that’s like any game—even Apples to Apples can end in war if played by the wrong family—but there are just a lot more opportunities for tension here because of the nature of the thing. And is some discomfort generative and helpful? Of course! But not every card here is for every family.

I bought these because I thought they'd be good for encouraging communication and closeness in our family. Unfortunately, we haven't used them yet because the cards are kind of odd. Many of the cards aren't appropriate for all relatives- some seem more geared toward spouses or siblings while others seem more geared towards parents or kids. You are supposed to choose them randomly, but that seems like a bad idea. Many of the questions might be rather awkward or put people on the spot. We are a pretty open family anyway so maybe we don't need these cards. It seems like they might make communication more awkward rather than less. In the past we've enjoyed things like "The Book of Questions" where you can pick and choose questions to ask each other and it seems less intense than this "game."
