Wish I'd looked at the nutritional content and potential energy you get from it first... 19 calories for 100mls... 500mls from 1 sachet, so that's 95 calories per sachet, 22.5 grams of carbohydrates.... but... it advises max 2 sachets per day, as 500mls contains 160mgs of cafine... so 320mgs caffeine is maybe 5 flat whites if you drank 2 sachets.... which amounts to 45grams of carbs or 190 calories, which is not a great amount of energy for a long race... unless of course you love a hardcore caffeine hit that lasts well into the next day.... but it does taste nice..... Now I will say that the caffeine uplift you get from this was very helpful... And I must say it was a nice change to get some caffeine energy as opposed to sugary energy... So I am revising my 1 star to 3... If you like Caffeine, this can be a good tool to use when faced with a massive climb at the end of a race whilst out on a long ride, race or sportive... But it tastes absolutely wonderful. I’m now a convert to the sachet forms and I’m drinking more fluid as a result too.
