Wowowow
Since getting this book I have changed my life and remembered all the tools I have in my tool box! So sweet to have such a simple guidebook and most importantly compassionate friend in AFEA cheeks who can truly relate to the skin picker. Highly recommend if you’re ready to open your heart to yourself and your healing. YOU deserve it (: you are worthy, right now! That’s the biggest teaching, baby steps, and next thing you know that icky feeling and habit is in your rear view and no longer running your life. So, so grateful. Implementation and integration are key, and love are at the forefront of them all.

Common sense advice!
You can spend years going to doctors to help with this struggle, or just get this book. You decide which is easier.

Typical advice
Cute and witty book. All the solutions say the same as anything you've looked up. Was hoping for more. Nothing you haven't read before off Google, Pinterest or heard on a TED talk for free. Now I just feel like I lost money that I could have spent on a product or a fidget toy than the same advice you hear over and over again.

Awesome!
This awesome little book is exactly what it says on the tin: ‘a short, snappy guide written from one picker to another’.I love humour. Just because you have a mental health condition like skin picking doesn’t mean you are void of it!… I absolutely loved the style, pictures and lightheartedness approach to this book. This is a great little book, amazing value for money, and a quick read which suits me.I felt motivated to make some changes after reading it, instead of feeling drained like you do with so many other self help books. This relatable and quirky approach to skin picking is a rare find. I highly recommend it to all the skin pickers out there. It’s suitable for all ages, all genders and all degrees of skin picking. I think Francheska should be very proud of her contribution to the skin picking community.

Fun, quirky, relatable.
I brought this book curiously after seeing a extract of it and loved its quirky approach to its reader. Im not a fan of heavy reading so really liked its straightforward easy pick up and go style. This little book has really helped me to be more aware of being kinder to my skin and let go of some compulsion and I would highly recommend giving it a go!

Feels like your sister sitting down beside you...
Feels like your sister sitting down beside you and telling you what you need to know about this. It's nice in many ways that it's a quick read, because it's not too draining, yet it covers the basics of how to help yourself and gives ideas of techniques to use, which are covered briefly, but at least then you can seek them out separately.I didn't know there were worry diaries, so that's a useful idea, and I've now just bought one after their mention in this book. She explains NLP anchoring, and recreating the past. I got the gist of the ideas but I think I'd need to read more about them to actually use them - but that's okay, cos at least now I know what to look for. I can probably find something online to explain it further. My main criticism of a good little book is that she focuses a lot on facial picking, of spots etc. She mentions other body parts but that seems her main problem. I, on the other hand, mainly pick my fingers, and sometimes my feet. It would be nice if she gave more info about other types of skin picking (other body parts than face).I like the humour, and the 'skin-picking demon is not you' idea. It's comforting to hear it talked about in a friendly, relatable way, rather than just medical terms. Thanks to Francheska - it won't be my only tool, but it's a useful, friendly start in my journey to overcome this stress-related bad habit.

Very helpful
Very well written with lots of really useful information. Very easy to read. A fun and friendly approach to self help. Definitely worth a read, especially if you are a notorious pimple picker.
