When the temperature gets above your chosen setpoint, it beeps 5 times. It will repeat the beeps every minute or two until the temperature returns back below the your setpoint.It's a nice balance versus a non-stop alarm, because it's not overly annoying if you have the door open for a bit while stocking or organizing the freezer.Also has a MIN/MAX function that let's you see the high and low setpoint of your freezers on/off cycle.

Hemos comprado 5 o 6 unidades,todas fallan en lo mismo,para controlar la temperatura interior,tienes que ponerlo en temperatura exterior,y lo mas grave es que ya me han partido 2 el cable,se congela y al meter alguna bolsa,se parte .

I bought this for a new deep freeze then realized how long it would take to ship and purchased another one that shipped quicker. After getting this one I found it almost identical to the other more expensive one. I decided to use this one in the kitchen refrigerator. It works perfectly, and appears to be accurate when tested with an IR thermometer. Bottom line good little unit at a great price

The freezer I wanted this for is in the basement. The alarm was not loud enough to be heard upstairs, and beeped too infrequently to be sure of hearing it on a quick trip to the basement to get something. I didn't measure it, but it seemed like the beeps were a minute or two apart.

I use this in a 5ft long deep freeze chest freezer. There was no suction cup provided but it does have magnets. It is a little difficult to get set up and took me a little bit of time working with it. The directions provided could be better. But after I did get it figured out, the readings appear to be accuate. I have the too cold/too warm alarm set. The alarm isn't super loud so if your fridge/freezer is in a basement or garage, then you may not ever hear it. When I walk by my freezer I just glance at the reading every few days. I've had this product a couple of months and haven't had any issues with it. For the price, it's pretty decent.
