Roman’s E-Z Hang Peel & Stick Wallpaper Helper, Clear, Non-Staining, 32 Fluid Ounces

I have used peel and stick contact paper (often called wallpaper now) many, many times and always ended up frustrated if the pieces were of any length. No matter how hard I tried, longer pieces always ended up going off-track/sideways/crooked. I could never get them perfectly straight. It got to the point that, although I LOVE contact paper because it offers an inexpensive way to make a big change, I gave up using it. I discovered this product quite by accident, while reading reviews here on Amazon, one of which mentioned this product. I was looking for wallpaper for an accent wall in my newly remodeled kitchen, found exactly what I wanted, but it was the peel and stick contact paper so I hadn't order it. Once I read about this product, I ordered it AND the contact paper I liked and VIOLA, no more problems with wrong placement or off-kilter alignment. **This stuff allows you to reposition the paper and get it perfectly placed without compromising how well the paper will adhere long term (which does happen if peel and stick paper is pulled off and repositioned too many times without use of this product). **It does require a generous application (sprayed onto the wall) to make sure it doesn't start to dry before you get the paper in place. **It's messy and drippy; I used cardboard pieces laid on the floor up against the wall to keep the floor clean. **BE SURE TO WIPE ANY EXCESS PRODUCT that squeezes through the seams onto neighboring pieces or drips on the floor or on trim, etc, while the product is still wet. This stuff dries as a glue, so clean up any excess immediately with wet rag and CLEAN water. If working on a large area, change water as necessary. I kept an ice cream pail of water and a rag next to me throughout installation. **I tried brushing the product onto the wall instead of spraying it on to be less messy, but that didn't work, couldn't seem to get it on thick enough. so went back to spraying the wall, as directed, and using a small plastic paint scraper to spread the product evenly over the area of the piece being applied. **Do NOT spray ahead of the piece of contact/wallpaper you are applying! You have a limited time to get the paper on before the product starts to dry, but plenty of time to position and reposition the paper exactly as needed. If it starts to dry out, respray the area. (When I was working by a heat vent, I turned the furnace down so it wouldn't kick in because the blowing warm air was drying out the product too quickly.) **The product also makes getting air bubble out very easy. I only had one piece that had an air bubble after the paper was applied, and it was very easy to get it out. **I ended up with a perfect installation, thanks COMPLETELY to the use of this product.

I've never hung peel and stick before but after reading all the reviews, I decided to try it so I don't know how much easier it made it, without anything to compare to - but I did have to unstick and restick multiple times and I am pretty positive this spray helped my paper stick to our orange peel textured walls. My only call out is that the spray is more like a stream and it bounced off the walls and got EVERYWHERE so my feet were sticky and I had to mop the ground after. Definitely make sure you don't have anything within a three or four radius of the area you are working or it will be sticky after. Other than that, works like a charm and easy to clean up.

En excellent solution to your none sticking wallpaper problem. It made my job so much easier and faster. It's stack without any clogging and you can reposition without tearing your wallpaper. Amazing staff. Highly recommend.

I just finished installing my peel and stick wallpaper and this product was a LIFE SAVER! It allows you time to move the paper around without it sticking to the wall permanently. (I had one piece that stuck to the wall before I could spray the Romans and I could not get it unstuck without tearing the paper. I had to scrap that sheet.) Roman's is a great product and an absolute necessity when using peel and stick wallpaper. Highly recommend this product.

This product is SO HELPFUL for installing peel and stick wallpaper. I’ve installed a lot of peel and stick without it, which is possible but really aggravating and ends up with me wasting some wallpaper. This product makes the wallpaper repositionable, so if you stick it and need to make adjustments, you actually can without any ripping or rippling of the paper. It is pretty sticky and feels like glue if you get it on your hands, but it washes off easily. You get a lot in the bottle, so it has lasted me multiple projects. It’s a great value and has great functionality. I will never install peel and stick again without this. I highly recommend this.

I tried using the instructions with this stuff and just sprayed it directly on the wallpaper and then the wall. I ended up with a mess with the first couple of pieces of wallpaper. They didn't slide and started permanently sticking before I could get the whole piece in place. After that, I started using water on my wallpaper and just spraying this stuff on the wall. That worked much better. I did successfully use it to spot spray on edges that weren't sticking. It makes a mess on the floors and everything else it touches, so make sure to wash it off before it dries. I was able to scrub up the dry stuff afterwards with a little elbow grease.

This is a complete game changer for installing peel & stick wallpaper. We tried one wall without it and it turned into a complete mess we ultimately had to tear down. The next go around with this spray was night and day, it makes it so easy to reposition the wallpaper once it's up, you can literally just slide it around. Without this, getting the seams to line up is basically impossible from the top to the bottom of the wall. Just spray this on the wall, put the paper up, and then slide it into position on the seam. Once it's matched up, use a smoothing tool to smooth it out moving away from the seam. Don't be shy with it, get a bunch of it on the wall. The more you have on there, the easier it will be to move it around. Just keep a roll of paper towels on hand to wipe off the excess activator spray that comes out as you smooth the paper down. You couldn't pay me to do peel & stick wallpaper again without this spray, it is that good.

I love to upcycle various things with a bit of contact paper and this makes it far easier to align things when I need to. I know most contact papers claim they are removeable but often times they will end up ripping or stretching, which destroys the pattern. This makes it very easy to reposition them and adds a bit more "stick" as well... no peeling on any of my projects this far!

An essential tool for installing peel and stick wallpaper. Works incredibly well and is easy to use. Cleans up fast. Absolutely no issues applying my peel and stick wallpaper perfectly when using this spray.

I bought this hoping it may assist with self adhesive wallpaper, and it did - to a point, but it certainly didn't make it super easy and the product (if it gets on other paint work) stains like a water mark.
