Blade Runner 2029 Vol. 1: Reunion (Graphic Novel)

Great cover, good story and ok interior artwork. One problem I have always had with Blade Runner is the Blade Runners are so over matched by the Replicants. There do not see to be and tech advancements. The Blade Runners are still using old school rifles and shotguns, against robots faster stronger and more durable then they are.Ash is back on Earth doing what she does best, with a slight twist. Her personal life could not be more different, and now she is chasing down a Replicant that got away. He is back with big plans and faith.An ok book enough to keep me interested. I do wish they would stop teasing me with the incredible cover art, and make the interior art match it. Also how about taking advantage of the new tech avaliable. The book finishes with a cover gallery with four to a page regular and varient covers. Also a sketchbook with character designs and layout pages.

Such a great start to this arc. I love how 2019 and 2029 can offer stories that will fit into canon without ever questioning how or why. It all fits in so well and Ash is such a great character. Great backing characters too.
