Powerful and super romantic
This is my first book where the protagonists are of Indian origin. This was a surprise and man I loved it. Vicious prince takes us through a tumultuous ride, that is, Kiran and Jayna's relationship. External forces want to pull them apart but they will fight to get back to each other. The intensity between the two characters was amazing, and beautiful. One of the most commendable things about this book was the character Jayna. She is one strong lady. Fighting her way to get her footing in mysogynistic world, she wants to set her own empire up. The manner in which she fights soo many delusions that people have about women, one of them being that women are weak, is handled commendably.Another thing that I appreciated about the story was the fact that the author gave time to the protagonists to build their relationship. Things were true to reality and how fragile relationships can be. I loved how the relationship was more about being equal partners. The romance was hot and intense. The story kept me hooked till the end. And the writing in this book is amazing. It's simple and easy to follow. All in all I would recommend this book to all the romance lovers.

full of explosive chemistry and interesting twists.
3.5 STARSVicious Prince by Sienna Snow was insanely hot with strong heroine and alpha hero. It was full of explosive chemistry and interesting twists. This story is the second interconnected standalone in Street Kings series and I would say that you need to read the first story to understand what is happening in this one. Jayna Shah lost her soulmate Kiran King in an accident that was set up by her controlling corrupt father. She has moulded herself into a ruthless business woman who is far away from the society princess she was. But everything crashes down when she finds out that Kiran is alive and he is now back. Will she forgive him? Will Kiran protect her?It was a modern fairy tale with darkness, edge and sexy times in plenty. Jayna chose the bad boy Kiran who deals in violence and power and part of King Brothers empire. Kiran made her feel stronger and independent. But she was devastated and broken after she thought that he is gone. It is hard to accept him even when Kiran was fighting his own monsters. I felt I was reading half of a story where the reunion is happening here and everything else happened in the last story. Jayna is an impressive fierce female lead and their chemistry is undoubtedly on fire. Kiran is the vicious alpha who is soft for his queen only. I really don't understand why he kept Jayna in dark for years hurting her. A lot was happening in the book with so many characters and I was lost a lot of times. Jayna and Kiran's emotional connection didn't touch my heart.I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

The best kind of second chance romance
This is Jayna and Kiran’s story. These two have been together since they were young but an accident kept them apart for three years. When certain circumstances happen Kiran is forced to step in the sunlight. When Jayna finds out oh boy stand back, you can feel her anger. It’s like that saying, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. But I could not stop awwing and swooning over Kiran doing everything he could to win Jayna back. It was steamy too.I love this series and can not wait to read the next one.

Kiran and Jayna were a match that started a fire!
I really hope any reader of this review has read book one of this series already because I don't know how to write this without telling the biggest spoiler. This story is about Kiran and Jayna. Kiran was supposed to have died in a terrible car accident caused by someone close to Jayna, and this is basically the story of the two married lovebirds finding their way back to each other.Author Snow stays true to her roots and writes about complex Indian American characters. Bravo to her, as she's the only Author I know of that does this. She lets the reader in on wonderful tidbits that let us in on the culture. Like the name of Jayna's club:"Ladai, in my family’s native language of Gujarati, meant combat."And Kiran's background:"Kir’s parents hadn’t had a star-crossed love story like Kir and I’d had. They’d both been immigrants, his father from Puerto Rico, his mother from Guyana. They’d met at work, fallen in love, married, and then had Kir. The only tragedy was that shortly after moving to New York for work, they’d both died in a bus accident, sending Kir into the foster care system."More insight into the language:"Masi in Gujarati meant auntie, more specifically, maternal aunt. Mummy had two sisters and five female first cousins. They all lived within the Miami area, so I referred to the collective as the masis. Mummy’s whole extended family lived in Florida or somewhere in the southeastern United States."Another wonderfully unusual thing Author Snow does is makes her female characters consistently strong and independent from their men. I've read many of her books before and this is a staple of her writing. The females are well rounded and brilliant, with the ability to ride circles around their men. You feel like a confidante while reading about these glorious women who never fight each other for dominance. And they all have their own thing going, with their friends and family supporting them. Author Snow has written the men to also support their women. No sexism for this book and other books by Snow.Oh and the descriptions the author writes...omg you feel like you're there, enjoying the opulence. Author Snow's true strength is creating a world and then connecting it beautifully to her female characters, instead of having it just THERE."...to develop my plan and then the build-out for the Ladai Room venture I had today. As we made our way into the club’s main area, Danika paused, taking in the sights and sounds around her. “Holy $%&#.” I couldn’t help but grin. “Are the chandeliers moving?”“Yep.”Everything in the club had a purpose, from the multitude of chandeliers to the exposed beams and the scaffolding. The proper lighting and shifting of various aspects of the room would change the ambiance to a completely different vibe. This club had four different party rooms. I’d just come from one of them, the VIP lounge where those with deep pockets and a need for privacy could be part of the club but with a more relaxed atmosphere. Then there was the main room— it was a massive two-level space featuring eight bars, a giant dance floor on the bottom, and floating DJ and performer stages. It was visual enchantment at its best. The two remaining rooms consisted of a rave-style room with its own music, lights, and production style, and an open-air terrace that looked out over South Beach."There's lots of secrets revealed and deals done to preserve the lives that are important to the King family. There are surprises and wonderfully villainous bad guys. But the best for me is how these King men are so at their women's mercy. My favorite lines in the book is Kiran groveling:"“I want to tell you something. You are my happiness, always have been. You were the light in my dark world. I lived by the rules of the streets, doing things that could have landed me in jail or dead and you saw something worthy. Do you have any idea what it does to a man to have a woman like you love them?""It's like crack to us women who wish we had a groveling man. Swoon! I would settle just for a man to clean my bathroom.

Pretty good
I was very excited to read Kir and Jeyna’s story after reading the first book. It definitely had some twists in it, but it flowed nicely. This book states it was a dark romance, but I honestly didn’t see anything “dark romance” related. Jeyna is such a strong character and it was nice to see the roles reversed for this book.
