It is mainly under the ball, instep and arch of the foot. I use it at nights for 20 minutes after which it gets warm very quickly. Also it works better with no socks on.

Q: Can you wear this at night for hot feet?

I wear them for 20 minutes at night a couple of hours before I go to bed.

Q: How long do they stay cold for if they are in the fridge

Two hours in the frig, they get cold but war up after wearing them for 10 minute.
