Probably the best addition for the Echo Dot ... gets it up and out of the way rather than taking up table/counter space. Does not impair sound quality or other functionality. The only downside is the location of the hook ... needed to be on the opposite side of the holder so graphics are right side up AND the power and speaker ports are at/out the bottom of the hung device - not a big deal but woulda thought they'd have thought about this issue in the R&D stage of production

The case works well when you want to hang your Echo Dot away from water - as in a bathroom or kitchen. The case does not interfere with the sound, while securely holding the Dot. The device is easy to remove if required. I used the Command 3M COMPANY Medium Clear Wire Hook to provide easily removed anchors in the spots I had chosen, as they are inconspicuous when unused.The case is inexpensive for the value delivered.

This is great! We have our Dot in our master bath and this protective case has allowed us to hang it on our mirror. It saves our Dot from any water or other products that might accidentally spill or splash on the device. The Dot securely fits in the case and works well with the A/C power adapter. The case does not make the Dot water proof or resistant it just keeps it up and out of the way. Thank you so much!

This is the 3rd hanger I have purchased from Amaz247 and they all have arrived in perfect condition in a box. These are for the 2nd Generation and they fit them exactly and hang flush against the wall. Between 2 houses we have 2 full size Echos and 6 dots. These hangers are a must have for the smaller Dot. It just seems to be able to pick up the commands better when hanging on the wall, or sitting on the table.Alexa sez Your Dot WANTS one of these... so make your Dot happy and BUY IT!! :)

I'd been contemplating getting a second Echo device for my home and the logical location for it was the master bathroom since we already had Alexa full size downstairs in the kitchen. I hadn't purchased one however since I knew I'd have to figure out two issues: how/where to mount it and how to power it.Like probably many of you our bathroom counter space is limited. We have a single sink and my wife and I share the space. The idea of having another thing sitting on the counter was a no go. Plus, with only one outlet by the sink and already having an electric toothbrush plugged into that I knew I'd have to do something different for power as well.My wife forced my hand when she gave me a Dot for Christmas.I knew that someone would have a device like this to mount my Dot vertically. I used a simple suction cup mount and this hangs from the large mirror that takes up way more space behind the sink that is needed. The result meets my needs completely.To solve my power issue I purchased a six pack of USB/duplex outlets and installed them in the most areas of my house where we commonly need to charge devices (with two teenagers we have more than two dozen USB powered devices and accessories). The USB output is sufficient for the Dot and the two duplex outlets support my toothbrush and my wife's hair styling accessories.

This simple little Echo Dot holder is great!! It freed up space on my nightstand. I used a small nail and popped up the holder. Perfect!!

When you first take this mount out of the package; yes, it feels cheap and flimsy. However, once the echo dot is snapped into place you realize it no longer feels as brittle. The dot itself gives it a more solid feel. I was also surprised that I wasn't able to just pop the dot back out. It took some work. This is good: I feel comfortable that the dot won't accidentally fall out. I am giving a 3-star review because this should be a $4 product. I'm certain anyone with a 3D printer could have produced this for less than 50 cents. Good product, but over-priced.

This works perfect to hang the Echo Dot. It is light weight so it doesn't take a lot of hardware to hang; a 3m velcro strip would suffice. I hung it behind an existing cable outlet screw and put the switch plate back on without difficulty. The only thing that would improve the design would be a little notch for screws or nails to sit or rest in. I wrapped the excess cord around the outside so I didn't have the cord hanging on the wall.
