Bought this for my mum. Her eyesight is failing with macular degeneration and the remote that came with her tv just isn't usable for her, it's all too small.This one though, big buttons and only the strictly necessary ones (she only watches Freeview). Keeping her independent with the TV. Was fairly easy to setup for her. No issues. Happy customer

My remote has stopped working. Put new batteries in but still doesnt work. Please advise.

Doesn't work with new JVC TV. Despite following all the steps multiple times to try and set the channels - which is a huge faff - all it would operate is the volume and on/off button. Returned for refund. It looks great but definitely doesn't work on my mum's TV.

Although the remote is simple the input button is directly below the on/off button so very easy to press by mistake- this is ok if the person can sort it out themselves but for anyone with an elderly person with memory issues it creates a problem. On our 3 rd one in 6 months as the on/off button gets worn fairly quickly.

I got this for my techophobic other half, thinking he wouldn't be able to mess up the TV pressing all the wrong buttons. He only needs it to go from HDMI 2 to HDMI 3 but you would not believe where he used to end up. It was never his fault, always the new TV and it's stupid remote and why couldn't we have bought a TV same as our old one with the same remote cos he could use that!! He was alright in the mornings, could press all the right buttons, but when he'd meet with his friends later and they had a few jars, well that was when the problems arose. Anyways, he still insists on using the original remote because this one is too easy and he's 'not stupid' but when he's tried and failed to get where he wants to be, I go up behind him with this super control and get to where he wants to be lol.

Excellent product for my 91 year old dad.

Whilst all the keys were large and easy for my 98 year old M in Law to use they were too slow to react. For example the volume key when pressed took ages to get louder. Furthermore accessing any three digit Channel was impossible for her to manage. So so disappointing as we thought it would help with her diminished sight but alas not quite fit for the job.
