We are studying it together so they can learn some good survival skills. With recent (Jan 5, 2023) U.S. government approval of 30,000 immigrants/month just from Cuba, Haiti and Venezuela, in addition to everyone who has been coming in from South, Central America and Mexico, I am concerned. We live in an area that already has homeless people camping everywhere, leaving garbage and drug used aluminum foil and/or syringes and human waste. I have been to some developing countries and seen similar hillsides and communities. This is the consequences of humans outbreeding their resources (and often poor life choices=drugs). Yes we have more resources than some countries but they are not unlimited. If we overpopulate the U.S. we will be in the same situation these people are fleeing when they should be working to fix what is broken in their own countries. Perhaps I am being a pessimist about these "generous" immigration policies but it doesn't hurt to be prepared. It would be amazing if they are all coming to be productive citizens not relying on my and your tax dollars to live on. This book has a variety of topics and so far they are all interesting. Review: Easy to read and helps you remember what to do! - I think if you are the one that reads this book you will be the one that can problem solve in a survival situation, even with little prior experience. This book is written in a way that the ideas stick in your head, with pictures and funny little "blufs" at the bottom. One such bluf says that if you are attacked by a shark and all else fails, just make sure you can swim faster than your buddy. I thought this was funny. But this book does have so many ideas and how to's that it's worth reading. If your like me, it will be fun to read because of the uses of everyday things that I never thought of before! Makes me look at a flashlight a little differently now.

More practical than the first book.
I found this book much more useful / practical than the original 100 Deadly Skills book. I like how this book is organized. I am more into bush-craft, but this book is filled with information that can be applied to bush-craft scenarios. It complements books like Bush-Craft 101 by Dave Canterbury and the Complete Wilderness Training Manual by Hugh McManners.

Regardless of the title, this is not a book on 100 way to kill, but more on 100 ways to survive. This book packs large amounts of useful information in a simple to understand and easy to remember manner. The sections are short and to the point, which makes it great for reading even when you only have 5-10 minutes to spare. This book will help you prepare for any emergency anyone could encounter, anywhere and for most natural disasters. For these reasons I am reading it with my family. It is better to know and not need than to not know and need. Oh! you may want to have pen and paper to take notes as you read it. Great buy. Also the book is made out of high quality paper. I believe is water resistant paper.

Husband Requested It
My husband is a former Marine and he requested two of these small guides for his birthday. They're cute little books and once he's done reading them I'm like to read them, too. They're pocket-sized, but only if you wear men's pants.

Must read for a modern world
This book is a continuation of his first book, 100 Deadly Skills, which I also read. Clint is a BTDT type from the SOF community as a SEAL of note, so his advice not typical mall ninja nonsense you'll often find out there. Both books supply easy to read concise advice on surviving a wide variety of possible threats and make for excellent reference guides on the topic. Sort of cliff notes for how not to die from a wide range of potential threats. The first focused on some tricks of the trade for all manner of threats and strategies more common to people who go into harms way for a living, and the second contains advice on threats more common to a larger audience and civilians, such as fires, natural disasters, home invaders, etc. I prefer the first book personally, but that's due to the fact I enjoy learning about spy craft and how high level people working in difficult and dangerous situations survive. The first more fun to read, the second more applicable to a large audience and most civilian types, although civilian types will pick up some excellent tips from the first book too. Either a worthy read, both worth reading in our modern world.

This book is very informative, its clearly written and uses sketches/drawings to illustrate what it's saying. This book is definitely a must for anyone who liked the original 100 Deadly Skills. Highly recommended!
