Just like another reviewer I had to order this twice because the first one I received from the seller hlandert-au was a cheap knock off. After returning the knock off and ordering again - this time choosing to order from Amazon US at greater cost - I got the genuine item. The genuine straps are good quality and work well. There is nice soft padding in the loops (where the knock off just used black webbing) and the strap used is nice and wide at 3" (unlike the knock off which was under 2"). The strapping also uses a nice sturdy weave, definitely much better in every way than the knock off versions and worth the extra. They work well. One thing to be mindful of though is that the instructions warn against exposing them to UV or high temperatures else the straps will weaken. If you live somewhere hot like us in northern Queensland, you don't want to go leaving them in the back of a ute or inside a vehicle. They need to be stored somewhere air conditioned and out of the sun.

These are a replacement for an identical set that I lost. The originals were a gift from my sister, and I thought yeah yeah I'm sure they will come in handy, thanks. But it was a surprise when my 14 year old daughter and I were able to move a large solid maple armoire that professional movers had recently not had an easy time with. The design/function of the straps allows you to use your body's strength most efficiently, with minimal stress on your back and hands/grip. PS: Works fine negotiating a step or two, but no good for more than that.

I purchased these straps to move a 225 pounds linen cabinet from the main floor to the first floor (14 steps) and it made the job very easy. It makes moving large and/or heavy furniture very easy. I recommend this product.

Seems very well made and extremely handy for moving furniture and appliances.

Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself, this makes lifting a huge washer/dryer possible for my wife and I and allowed us to lift it up onto it's stand. You have to be careful with the balance but it is a great equalizer.
