Exactly what I needed!
We bought a house with an existing above ground pool that was pretty filthy and needed to be vacuumed asap. The skimmer and basket seemed a bit small and I was having a tough time finding the correct attachment to fit. After measuring the skimmer basket, I found this cover which fits my 6.25" opening perfect. It fits directly over the basket, which catches all the debris, and keeps suction beautifully.

Looks fine, but doesn't fit my skimmer
It's a tad too big and cannot use. Make sure you measure!

Too small for my Hayward system
I wasn’t sure of the proper part number so you better not order unless you know it. It looked identical to my broken one so it’s a good price and I gave it a try but it was too small.

Doesn’t fit my skimmer basket.
I’m so disappointed. The post says it fits Pentair above ground pool skimmers; but it doesn’t fit mine.

Can't vacuum a pool without it!
