Finish could have been better.
The finish of both, the mortar and the pestle is not good. Because of the protruding part underneath the mortar, it does not sit level on a surface.The inner surface of the mortar is more curved than the pestle, meaning, anything at the dead center can never be crushed properly - mortar will have to be used in tilted position.This product could have been wonderful, if the finish were paid attention to.
