It's Called Trick Line For A Reason
I am in the scenery business and we often have to temporarily secure things in place like a hotel ballroom. This is the standard of the industry for things like keeping hanging speakers pointing the right direction or hanging a sign. The term trick line comes from theatrical use where you hide a cord to make something move on stage. It actuates the 'trick' during a performance. This product is the same as I have been using my entire theatrical career.

Good quality trick line
This trick line is not the wax finish type but the slightly rougher trick. It works well and is of good quality. Except for a couple of more expensive brands that stand out, paying a lot for trick line isn't worth the money. Stick with this or similar types at similar price points. Good stuff.
