I bought this to use for coffee brewing - specifically the built in timer feature. This scale is incredibly accurate. It's labeled as +/- .1 but this thing is dead on. I weigh coffee beans in a digital cup scale, grind them, then put the grounds in the filter/brewer and it comes out precisely to the gram weight that I initially measured.The timer can be configured in multiple ways (countdown or total time) and is super easy to use. Its lightweight, compact, and takes up little counter or drawer space. It has great battery life and the digital face is clear and concise. Very happy with this scale.

I loved this scale/timer but it got wonky then wasn’t accurate. A representative reached out rapidly in response to my email, helped me troubleshoot, then said she’d send me a new one. That’s excellent customer service. I have their kettle and love it too.

This little scale changed my coffee. Went from wasting a lot of coffee to using exactly the right amount. Also started drinking espresso because the flavor is so much better with right coffee to water ratio.

Along with this scale, the hand grinder and kettle behind it, my coffee is better than any shop I have visited in my travels. You must handle with care.. don’t expect to last long dropping it or being rough with it.

The scale is incredibly easy to read. My last scale's display was dim, which meant the batteries lasted FOREVER (years), but I'd rather be able to read the display easily. I also think it's just faster than my last scale to get to a reading, which makes the process of a pourover coffee more enjoyable. It's hard to quantify this, but I just think it's easy. Also, this is dumb, but I like that it has an on-off button, and physical buttons overall. I don't like "touch-sensitive" buttons at all because you never quite know if my press is registering. Also, I had to long-press buttons on my old scale for certain functions, but here there is a dedicated button for everything.My one complaint is the timeout. After 5 minutes, the scale turns off. This might seem fine, but there are times when I am in the middle of making a pourover, get distracted, and when I go back, I forget which pour I was on, so I don't know how much is left. I just wish I could set that to a longer period. It's enough of a bother for me to take them down a notch, but not enough to send it back.

Love this scale! The display is pleasing, high-contrast and very clear. It has a silicone cover, and there are zero gaps around the screen and buttons, so it's easily cleaned and I don't worry about damaging the internals with water or crumbs.There is a tiny bit of float, typically less than a gram, and only occasionally. For example, I'll weigh out 19.3g of beans, seal the bag, and come back to 18.9g. It's minor enough and infrequent enough that it doesn't concern me at all.The readout is quick and responsive, and I love the timer. At first it seems a little confusing to switch between counting up and counting down, but after doing it once I have no trouble with it even half-asleep. Just hold the units button, press it again to change between modes, and use power & tare to set minutes and seconds if counting down (use play/pause to confirm each setting). Takes less than 10 seconds.Overall it's quick, accurate, and well-made. I love that it has a much smaller footprint than my old kitchen scale, and looks sleek on the counter. Perfect addition to my coffee station! I also highly recommend their gooseneck kettle if you're in the market ☕

Decided on this scale due to my Chemex being an 8 cup size & didn’t want to break the bank when most coffee scales are the law of averages…give or take a decimal point. Also wanted a timer for my pour overs. This scale hit all marks. My coffee was perfect today. A scale really makes a huge difference in pour overs but it doesn’t have to hit your wallet. This guy proves it. Highly recommend.

Awesome scale. Easy to read display, sensitive without being overly fidgety, and even easier to clean! I highly recommend this if you’re a serious coffee maker/weigh food for meal prep.
