Update 28/12/21 : DANGEROUS DEVICE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - I Initially gave this a 5 star review because of it's great design and the fact that it had a really long lead and also USB ports in just the right positions.Unfortunately I did not use it that much and packed it away for use this Christmas. Now that I used it over a number of days in a row, with a device plugged into each power port, it just blew up on me and burnt the lead. I only had low powered devices plugged into this, namely a phone charger, some strip lights, an Apple TV and a home telephone base. It was fortunate that I was home and heard it blow and rushed to see what it was. There was a tiny flame coming from the plug so I quickly put that out with a damp cloth, but it had managed to burn the plug on this extension and the lead.I got an electrician to check it out the following day and we replaced it with another extension lead and that has been working fine with all the same devices on it as all the devices were still all ok thankfully. The electrician said that this did not conform to the regulations in the UK and that NOBODY SHOULD BUY THIS AS IT IS VERY DANGEROUS.I hope people do read these reviews as hopefully this can prevent a similar situation in someone else's house and also prevent a disaster and even loss of life. I will be contacting the seller to see what their response is so I will update the review again with what they say.

This charger does the job well. What I don't like is that it gets very, very hot to the touch. So hot that you wouldn't want to be holding it for long. I will only use it when I am around to check it and make sure I can turn it off as soon as charging is finished. I would not leave my house and leave the charger on when there is no-one around.

I plugged a small usb led light and it got very hot and turned off 🤷🏼‍♀️Besides the led light my phone was charging at the same time...I got a little bit scared since it happened and I only plug one thing per time now (but I think it’s not the point, right?!).

The on off switch got incredibly hot, I wouldn’t use this if I wasnt sat next to it, then the USB ports stopped working after a couple of weeks. Sending back. Do not waste your money

I've brought 4 of of these at various times now as they seem much better than my normal extension cords (other towers or strips).Its small enough to be tucked away most of the time, and the design is nice enough that the 2 we have out in the open look good, and are inconspicuous. I used to have a larger tower on my desk, but this has replaced it well (switched mainly for aesthetics). USB on the top works as expected, no issues with power loss or heat as others have said.I have to play around a little with the layout if some equipment's plugs are taller than a tradition plug (i.e our printer plug is tall and blocks the wire from the plug on a face next to it). This is due to the small space this unit takes up, however wide plugs work well as they each have a face.Overall very happy with these.

Been using this for a few days now and for the price you pay, I recommend looking elsewhere. Charging and iPhone, IPad and powering some LED strip lights is too much for it to handle, whereas a power lead that cost me half the price works just fine. If you want to use this to charge your devices, don’t. The amount of, or lack of power it provides means your devices will take up to triple the time to charge.In addition, the extension lead will regularly shut off power for minutes at a time if you have more than one plug or USB plugged in at a time.A weak single plug extension at best.

I like how small and elegant it is. It also works well in terms of power. However I would recommend anyone buying to check the direction of plugs/cables they need. The plugs can be plugged all in one direction with cables ‘wrapping around the cube’ when all sockets used, so it you wanted to put the cube neatly against a wall, the cables will be pushing it away. If the plugs were such to direct the cables upwards (like the USB cable) it would possibly sit in place neater on the floor with all cables going one direction not all directions as now. That is the only ‘but’ I have.

Was looking for an extension lead I would not trip over. This is great for use on shelf by desk, especially with the USB ports. About the size of a small can of fizzy drink so might be a bit clunky for a short trip but great for longer journey, speaking as a non car driver from point of view of luggage. Only just started using it but happy so far.
