Kiara Sky Dip Powder, Black To Black, 1 Ounce

Just got my jar of Cheery Dust dipping powder and had to give it a go! Loving it! * It is opaque. * black with cherry red flakes * no metallic looking glitter * applies smoothly and easily with the KS kit stuffs, so that even a nail polish/dipping enthusiast like me can do it. I have nothing for the CONS type list except that this stuff takes some effort to remove. I don’t have patience to soak it off. I use a rotary nail file with sandpaper bit and buff off at least half the thickness of the product, then 15-20 minutes with cotton balls, acetone and foil-wrapped fingertips. No damage to my nails.

When I moved to a new state, I was unable to find a dip powder in the salon that I liked as well as my previous salon. I started ordering my own since I had use this one previously. This specific color is not sheer. I’ve worn it now for about four years. It is black, silver, and pink, and actually will match everything I wear. Depending on your wardrobe, it can look gray, maroon, pink, very neutral, or very bohemian! If you have a good nail tech, you can trust that it will last for weeks for the chips to show up. I highly recommend this dip powder.

Wow! I LOVE this black dip powder by Kiara Sky. Honestly, with just one dip you were good to go, it was not sheer at all! It’s super black! Ofcourse I went in with a second dip just to make them a little thicker/stronger for my preference. Note: The little gold flakes are a different dip but the black under is this one by Kiara. It’s beautiful.

I’m not sure what happened! My dip doesn’t look like the photos…is more black speckled with glitter. Honestly, I kinda love it anyways…tho it’s definitely not what I thought I was getting. I’m not exactly a novice (also not a pro) so I know what I’m doing for the most part. This is 4 layers of dip “. Just confused as to why it came out so different?

Hey you Holosexuals! It’s REAL holo! Super impressed. I must say, I did doubt them. I will be ordering again. Tip💡 You will need 3 layers to get the same look I got. I did super thin layers. I hold my hand up to the light and will add layers where it’s see through. Once you get your desired color, always always always, cap entire nail with a thin layer of clear powder. This helps the glitter retain the rainbow effect. If it’s ground down, it could just look silver which you don’t want. Good luck and keep practicing!

I took up SNS over COVID, which has saved me at least $2,500/year (I was absolutely astonished when I did that math). I bought this because I love a bunch of this brand's other products, and I wanted something that was more black than the powder I currently have, which was turning more of a dark, dark grey once I sealed it. While this is extremely black, it gets ALL over your hands and makes a HUGE mess compared to any other powder I own. It gets all over EVERYTHING as you work. I will not purchase it again. My other black powder does not do this, and thus is my preference, even though I don't love the color.

Lol I love it. I just don’t love the mess and demonic looking fingers. I love the after product though when it’s clean. So beautiful and classy.

Terrible. It came leaking all over. But I know this powder can be messy. So I tried to use this and the powder is wet. It is supposed to be a dry, fine powder. It died my fingers after several hand washing. Also the black turned white and chalky. Would NOT recommend
