I didn’t expect much from a small set of USB computer speakers, but these TAOTOSUNE speakers honestly surprised me in a good way. Setup was about as simple as it gets—plug the USB-A in, connect, and they just worked. No drivers, no fuss, which is exactly what I want when I’m trying to get something running quickly on my desk. Sound-wise, they’re solid for everyday use. I’m not an audiophile, but for work calls, YouTube, background music, and general computer use, the clarity is better than I expected at this size and price range. Voices come through clean, and I don’t have to crank the volume just to hear dialogue anymore. They’re compact too, which matters more than I thought it would. My desk isn’t huge, so having speakers that don’t take up a lot of space but still do the job is a big plus. They also feel lightweight but not cheap or flimsy. Bass is obviously limited—you’re not getting anything that shakes the room—but that’s not really what these are for. They’re more of a “reliable daily driver” than a wow-the-room setup, and they fit that role well. Overall, if you need simple, plug-and-play computer speakers for work or casual use, these do the job without making things complicated.

The blue light behind the volume control know is annoyingly bright but the knob is easily removed and the interior blacked out with a sharpie, or black paint. Apart from that, these speakers are great for use with PC or laptop - especially since they are US powered and so are easily moved with the laptop. Sound quality is adequate, but definitely not Hi-Fi. All in all, for using with computer these are perfect and a great price. My wife and I no have three of them and they have performed flawlessly - just what we needed.

This speaker is good for its price. The audio quality is good for the amount of money you pay for it. My only problem I had with the speaker is that the blue light surrounding the nob is so bright (for context I have my pc in my room). At night the light is to bright it keeps me up sometimes and I occasionally have to unplug the speaker just to get some sleep. I am about to go off to college and don't want the light keeping me or my roommate up so I ended up opening the speaker and removing the light from the inside. If you are having this speaker in a office space than this is a good cheap option. If this speaker will be in a bedroom or something I would recommend another option unless you are willing and capable to take the light out yourself (it wasn't hard, just annoying).

Great price works well

I recently had to replace my monitor, which finally quit after 8 years. This happens. One thing I did not notice on the new monitor was no built in speakers. So I decided to look around, and I found these. For less than $10 I got me a little sound system that does what I need. It sits under the new monitor and stays out of the way. It was easy to setup. Plug the USB cord into a USB port, the audio plug into the headset jack, and I'm ready to rock and roll. It's not a high end speaker set, but the quality is fine for when I want to watch a video or a news report. My computer is a Mini-PC and I couldn't install a sound card if I wanted to. The cable length is more than sufficient and you can separate the cord to reach where you want. The lighting doesn't shut off, but that's no big deal. As long as I can listen to my MP3 files or news or videos, it works for me. It's NOT Bluetooth but that's fine since I didn't have to try and pair it. Plug and play. Simple. And That's the way uh huh uh huh I like it! No static as others have mentioned. It works with my PC even when I'm running Linux

Speakers are fine. The sound quality is good enough for my work purposes. It's a little irritating that they can't be turned off by a knob or button. They are always on with big blue light; only way to turn them off is to unplug the USB. This might be fine for some users but I miss the shut-off of my older set.

This speaker box is not bad. It's small, but yet has a robust box stereo sound. It should do well with most PC or anything really that takes a 3.5 mm plug for the speakers. A few things about this, it comes pre-wired with a USB and/or 3.5mm plug. I find however these wire to be very small, somewhere around 16 gauge or smaller. The USB has to have a wall adapter to work. I really wouldn't recommend plugging this into you pc for power. You PC/Laptop gets it's power from the PSU. Over time all these extra USB sources will put to much drain on this causing wear and tare sooner rather than later. To extend the life of a PSU, I run an external power USB Hub that converts power from 110 v to PC voltage. No more issues with costly PSU. The wires from the Speakers are 48" in length, this should be plenty for most applications. One thing about this speaker box is in the center is a Volume know. This emits a bright blue light. If your using on your desk, you are going to have that blue one eye staring you in the face. You can't turn this off unless you are using a Power strip or simple unplug it. With some research on PC Speakers. Most are around 2-3 watts of power. That's not too bad because you are sitting right there. But this speaker claims 6 watts. On certain games I need this. Plus the speaker gives a little more spread out sound for the reality of the things. Ok, hopes this helps
