The book arrived quickly and in perfect condition.This is a delightful book which shows, at the same time, so much and so little of the iconic Karl Lagerfeld. Wit and wisdom, sassy and deliberate, refreshing and confident; he said he would never write an autobiography...this is quite acceptable in its place. I would have liked to have known/met the man (RIP, Sir), I was late in coming to know his styling and fashion vision; however I am making up for lost time now...

The smell of the pages of this book are what make it truly unique and stand apart; of course the content is king because duuuh! Is Karl after all; but now that he's gone I have this idea that the Anel of the book itself was on purpose. Everybody who loves the Kaiser should have it on their library

If you are a Karl Lagerfeld fan - as I am and you love his confidence and sometimes snarky comments you will Love this book. It is a book of quotes by the designer - on life, fashion etc. no stories just one to 2 sentence quotes. Lots of laughs if you love him and understand his humor.

My husband, who is the fashion guru, has enjoyed this book immensely! The man who rarely comments on things that I give him has been raving about this book!

I really enjoyed reading his "philosophy" and appreciated his sense of humor and personality, which came through loud and clear.

This book is only quotes by Karl. I for some reason thought it was going to be a bit more like a biography. I guess the product description wasn't all that clear. Either way Karl's quotes are funny and interesting and I enjoyed the book overall, for the 30 minutes it took me to read it cover to cover. I just thought it was going to contain a little more information about him.

I'm glad I own a beautiful copy of this hard cover containing the wit and wisdom of Karl Lagerfeld that few could ever claim to have. It is a book to be read every now and then as his aphorisms may be either simple or need time to process. Karl was a genius of his time, his experience far and wide allowing him to express profound views sometimes wise and other times biting but nearly always true. A real teacher.
