Q: Are these socks uncushioned? any cushioning in my socks tortures my feet!

These do not have cushion on the sole.

Q: I have thick ankles, do these stretch?

Yes. I needed cuffs that stretched because my ankles swell and will swell more if I am wearing tight cuffs. I don't know how big you need your cuffs, but if I slouch the cuff down, I find it comfortable. The only sock that has worked for me.

Q: Do they match with boots, combat or western models?

These are versatile and should work with most styles.

Q: The picture is 3 white pairs but the color says white/light charcoal heather/black, which is it?

Listing is confusing - there are options for choosing the color of the three pair pack (and prices vary per color chosen), however the description color which says white/light charcoal, heather/black doesn't change based on what color is chosen in the box. Choose color as indicated in the box - I've always chosen white and that is what I receive. (Great socks, by the way!)
