My son had got rid of his desk and wanted some storage to fill the alcove instead. Unfortunately we couldn't find one that was reasonably priced whilst being big enough. Then I found this range and we realised that two of these units side by side would fit perfectly! They are very sturdy when built which surprised us and all the tools you need come in the box. Each unit only took about 20 mins to build but I'm sure someone good at DIY could build them quicker. The drawers themselves are sturdy with a thick cardboard base to support them and stop them collapsing and the material has a lovely linen look to it. I like that the drawers have a proper screwed on handle rather than a folded strip of canvas like some others have. I think it makes them look like actual furniture than similar units that some people use as toy storage. These drawers will not hold a massive weight but for things like jumpers, tshirts, nightwear, underwear etc they are great and my son even stores toiletries and stationary in the smaller drawers too. These are ideal for a teenagers room and we also bought the matching unit that is lower in height, that my son uses as a TV unit in the other alcove and that is just as good. Together they have really modernised his room. Would highly recommend.

Although it's straightforward to put together once you get going, my friend and I took a couple of wrong turns first.... admittedly we're a couple of older ladies, so that could be the reason. Once the frame is assembled, it's very sturdy and I'm more than happy with that. The drawers, as you realise, are like a canvas covered cardboard and extremely easy to shape and add the handles to. I'm using mine as a bedside table because I've got an adjustable bed and couldn't reach behind when sitting up, so needed something that had a back plate on top to stop things falling down the back, when I had to bring the unit 12" forward from the wall....so this works perfectly for me. I'm also bedridden and have wires everywhere, or did....now I've got one of those 13amp/USB towers inside the middle drawer, and because of the flexibility of the drawer, I have pushed all the leads through the back of the drawer and then plugged in, so not a wire to be seen, and the USB leads are all within reach for my tablet, phone, watch, fan etc. making the unit a very useful piece of furniture, and it does actually look quite nice. I would do a photo, but I don't know how to! 🤔 Overall, I'm very pleased with it but would have loved a size between the small one which I have, and the larger one which is 2" too big....and no, for reasons, the bed can not be moved over. I would also have liked it to be a couple of inches deeper front to back, but it is what it is. Again, castors would have been perfect, even if they had cost extra, to make cleaning behind it easier. I'd give it 8/10

A nice sturdy unit, looks as good as the image and is easy to assemble. I like that the canvas drawers have proper handles and not the usual canvas type. Holds plenty and isn't heavy to move whilst unloaded. Would buy again.

Having previously bought the wider one (7 drawers on 3 levels), we bought this to match. They go together really well. The 2 wood panels have built in plastic ferules which the screws go into. This makes for a sturdy joint without the risk of splintering the wood. Look nice and are practical provided you do not overload the drawers.

Brilliant, hides away all my husband's bits.
