Schwarzkopf Natural & Nourishing 580 Darkest Brown Permanent Hair Dye Vegan

Covered grey bought by accident will buy again, covered grey and natural blonde.

As the product I usually use changed the composition and ended up with an orange tint, I was desperate to find a product that was closer to my original hair colour (dark blond with no orange tint), and this product nailed it! It covered the grey and matched my natural hair colour again without making my hair dry or brittle.I will definitely be using it again :)

It did a good job of colouring my greys and blending in my roots, but it's not the product I remember buying at the supermarket when they used to sell it. This one has a string permanent hair dye smell which worried me and it irritated my scalp whilst the one I used to buy did not.

Do you know how long I've waited for a vegan hair dye that is an affordable price and easy to purchase often being a supermarket or boots. I absolute love tge fact that it for one doesn't sting your throat with ammonium and two comes put of tge towels after one wash! That's very impressive. One thing I look out for being a vegan are products that contain silicone so this is good indeed. This also contains which I love is cold pressed oil and I am an addict for products that nourishes my hair. It is unfortunately that time of my life wear grey and white are quite visible and luckily this gives a superb coverage. It is the colour shown on the box which for me is light brown. The amount of hair dyes I've been through in my life time have always unsuccessfully come out a colour that is not quite as the box presents it as but an awful cheap unrealistic colour that has cost me more than I anticipated to spend just to correct it. This lasts 28 days longer than the average hair dyes and its made with some items that are recyclable better have something to recycle from this than nothing at all. The price is just right and quality superb.

This was quite thin when mixed which made it run. Usually this brand is not like that.

Pretty much the same price you pay in shops plus with prime you’re getting it delivered to your home for free.

For quite some time now I have been struggling to find a blond shade that will cover my increasing greys, without fading completely in the next 3 weeks (naturally mousy brown with salt and pepper grey growing through heavily).I used this today, for the recommended 35 minutes for roots plus 10 minutes for the lengths (for this shade) and this has made a big difference compared to other brands.It doesn’t smell like it’s been dyed and it hasn’t irritated my scalp at all. 511 has turned out a lovely light blond and not overly ashy.I’ve tried numerous brands through decades of colouring my own hair and was on the verge of either going grey “gracefully” at the age of 48 or engaging a colourist. This has made me wonder if there is finally a brand that can deliver what I need. Time will tell, and will reflect on this review in 3 weeks although it appears to have lifted the colour completely in the tonal way the product claims to so I am ever hopeful and so far impressed.

Easy to use, albeit takes a little longer in developing, but result superb!
