Honestly, this is great for hot lunch. I work and my lunch is at 11:20. In the morning, I boil hot water extra hot and heat up my lunch around 7:30ish. I then put my lunch in and put the lid on tight. It never has leaked. My lunch is hot but hot that you would burn your mouth. Yes it's pricey but worth it. I have taken leftovers for lunch such as chicken with rice and beans and I even took ramen, there wasn't much juice for the ramen but it was still good.

I use this container to take ice from home to my classroom since there’s not an ice machine for teachers. It keeps my ice ready to have a fresh drink in the afternoons at school.

Beautiful but reports of scraped off paint
so many reports of the coating scraping off that I returned. But it is beautiful. also many reports it doesn’t keep your soup warm.

Disappointed that the cover (steam release part) broke almost a year and a half later. It doesn’t keep warm anymore.

After 2 washings in my dishwasher, the box it's completely ruined. For that price, I am now using it just at home to store food. Not recommended if you are having a dishwasher machine.

Die Box ist formschön und auch das Material ist gut. Aber sie hat einen alles entscheidenden Fehler: Sie lässt sich nicht wieder zuschrauben!! Obwohl die Box noch leer war und man sie daher auf jede erdenkliche Art drehen und festhalten konnte, ließ sich der Deckel einfach nicht wieder zuschrauben, ohne zu verkanten. Egal. wie oft ich es versucht habe, der Deckel saß immer wieder schief und ließ sich deshalb nicht komplett schließen. Das ist natürlich untragbar. Schade, aber ich schicke die Box zurück.
