LEVOIT Aria Himalayan Salt Lamp, Pink Rock Large Crystal Natural Himilian Gift Night Light (ETL Certified) Touch Dimmer, 8.5lbs

I purchased two of these for my tiny AZ home... one for the master bedroom and one for the living/dining area. I have never purchased a salt lamp before and I cannot speak to the list of possible benefits, but I am hopeful for positive results. However, having said that, the lamp is lovely. The dimmer switch is very nice. You can control the brightest easily using the dimmer switch which clearly changes the mood. The salt chunks are large and each chunk is unique in color and size and shape as you can imagine. The bowl holder is a clear acrylic type material... about 8" in diameter - just eye balling it... and about 6" tall. It came very carefully and beautifully packaged. Once you put the salt in the bowl I can image that you don't want to move them around a lot as it could scratch the bowl. I did carefully move a few pieces to places I felt were better. I have had the lamps plugged in for about 8 hours... no odors. Just a really beautiful glow. The dimmer switch is hard. You just tap it to turn it on or off and gently press to dim or brighten. There is a very nice booklet with instructions on how to change the bulb (a spare is provided) Cleaning instructions say: regularly dust salt crystals with a dry, clean cloth. Do not wash or clean with water or detergents, If not in use for a long period of time, store the lamp in a cool, dry environment, covering the crystals with a plastic bag. The lamp may naturally moisten in humid environments - saying further that if you use in a humid environment leave the lamp on for several hours to naturally dry out (I'm thinking like in a bathroom?) They also note not to place to close to electronics as the salt may draw moisture. It says if the salt crystals become moist - gently pat down with a clean dry cloth - also noting not to clean the bowl with any organic or other solvents or it may become damaged.I would say if you're looking to purchase one of these as a gift, they are beautifully packaged and look very high end. The price is definitely higher than some of the options but not the highest. I personally chose the bowl style of salt crystal because salt may draw moisture and I wanted it contained instead of dripping off a free standing rock without containment. I do really love the soft glow. That alone is worth the purchase to me. I do really hope the claimed health benefits will be a bonus.I never hesitate to update my reviews if new info should seem useful. I also try to answer all questions to best of my ability. Hope this helps you in your decision.UPDATE: 2/10/2017.... I have been using both lamps 24/7 for some weeks now. Both are still working perfectly. I still believe these salt lamps are a really good buy. I've looked at so many in person that were so much more money and so much less lamp. I think one of the best parts is the dimming light. You can really adjust to comfort, for instance, in the bedroom. Still feel these lamps are really 5 star items.

LOVE THIS LAMP...I have suffered from CHRONIC sinus issues for years now...what actually prompted me to look for 'something' was that I recently caught a bad 'bug' which affected my UPPER respiratory and then eventually settled in my chest as well with lots of coughing. THe lamp is gorgeous, gives a soft 'glow' at night which is helpful as a 'night-light' of sorts and the ROCKS came in larger 'chucks'....the lamp/rocks were very well packaged and all was IN TACT when received. I am breathing MUCH BETTER...nose does NOT get PLUGGED up like before, even my husband has noticed the difference and BTW he is NOT snoring either....I had never heard of 'himalayan' salt or these lamps until just recently. I recommend this LAMP very highly....looks gorgeous...the size is just right...NOT so large where it looks out of place on your night stand and LARGE enough where it can make a difference....NOW I know what to buy fam/friends for their birthday or Christmas...try it, you'll LOVE it.

i have this in my office rn and i get so many compliments from it, it just has the most perfect ambient lighting and it looks modern and everyone just loves the vibe. people will stop to come and see it. def the best salt lamp i own. and it’s REALLY good quality

I'm always a skeptic when it comes to purchasing natural products, especially since you hear it all over the internet about faux Himalayan Salt Lamps. I took a risk and bought the Levoit Aria Himalayan Salt Lamp for my office. I'm quite impressed with the product and love the ambiance it gives my office, especially when the the lights are off.All my co-workers complimented the lamp, and are quite intrigued by it too. We started to look up if this was the "real deal," and by the looks and how it's been performing (I've only had for a month) this is the better quality lamps you'll ever find. I highly recommend this to anybody who is looking for a modernized look but with the same benefits of having the whole sale rock lamp.I would definitely purchase this again. I love this!

I was looking for a salt lamp because I heard it was a healthy addition to a room. This one is beautiful! It came packaged so nicely and I was blown away with the quality of this lamp. The salt crystals are unique and the base is quite large. I love the amber glow this gives off in my livingroom at night when we are relaxing and I've had complements from visitors.The dimmer is a nice addition. You will enjoy this lamp.

I think I just got a dud. It didn't light up - had to return it. :(

Update: I received a second one of these lamps without ordering.... after some confusion and searching my Amazon account i found the company sent me a second as compensation for not being fully satisfied. While the same issues are still true about the item, having a second one for free off set the cost to make it much more affordable. If the original cost was half what it is I would say this item is great. So I still give the single item a 3 star review but I will give the company a 5 star review for trying to make the customer happy. That makes it seem a fair 4 star overall is what I will leave for this item.I gave this as a gift to our family, it is overall a nice product. Why I don't rate it higher is the product seem a little cheap for the price. And it's smaller then the pics make it look online. It's only about 8" wide by 5'' tall and it's plastic not glass. When you place the salt in you really have to move them around to cover the bottom screws and light or it looks So so. Could have used more salt rocks seemed not totally full. The dimmer works well, and the light is pretty when covered properly. The packaging it comes in is very fancy but has no picture or info about what salt lamps do or what this should look like. I had to find the pic online to show the rest of the family as they had no idea what it was when they opened the box.
