Covers the hot tub and provides an extra layer of privacy from the people above. Also great for keeping slight rain drizzle and also protects the tub from the sun (when we get it). Only wish the head would extend a further 5 inches over.

The metal feet that support the parasol have a lip on them where you can then put the optional feet weights to make it sturdy. However, the lip needed to be at least 2 inches wide instead of the 1 cm. There's very little for the base weights to sit on to take the weight of it. We had to bolt it to the floor as well as using the base weights.Put the parasol up today on a sunny morning, gentle breeze and the parasol has just snapped off. The metal is very flimsy and poor quality. Not strong enough built to suit it's purpose. Will be returning it for a full refund.Update, emailed the company who responded promptly and issued me a full refund. Very happy with their customer service.

J'ai acheté ce produit il y a moins d'un an, et par acquis de conscience, je l'ai rentré dans mon garage, dans sa house, pour le préserver du gel etc...Je le ressort donc il y a un mois suite aux premieres chaleures, et au bout de 3 fois, la manivelle ne focntionne plus.Je demonde le systeme de poulie et remarque que la manivelle s'est cassé net. Je contacte le vendeur et ce dernier me repond que comme ça fait PRESQUE un an, il ne pouvait proceder à un echange. Je lui reponds presque un an c'est pas un an, et qu'il ne sait pas si le fait de l'avoir mis dans mon garage c'est ce qui l'aurait endomagé. on s'echange deux autres email a propos de la garantie, sujet qu'il élude completement. bref, il me propose un remboursement de 20€. Je suis très déçu et encore plus des reponses évasives du vendeur. Je retrouve ce modele sur plusieurs site, je pensais qu'avec Amazon le service client serait plus pertinent...

Definitely a two person job to fit the pieces together - you need someone to hold the parasol part while you slot the pieces together, unless you can manage this while it is flat on the ground maybe. A little bit fiddly to put together, because one of the push buttons was difficult to press in, but overall impressed with the design and quality. Once assembled, the cranked opening and closing is easy. Creates a large shaded area, which completely fills my small patio area and gives the feel of an outdoor room almost. Happy to recommend.
