Broth pot nectar
I use a marrowbone some beef and lamb breast bones to make my scotch broth stock and it’s the marrowbone that gives it a subtle rich flavour. I do tend to buy one for my dog too and she has endless fun getting the marrow out and gnawing the bone. I also feed my dog the actual marrow once it’s cooked and she loves it. Note when I give my dog a marrowbone it’s in its raw state as it’s robust enough to withstand days of gnawing without splintering. When I use a marrowbone for soup I discard the actual bone as cooking makes the bone brittle.

not just for dogs
All of the reviews specifying 'For Dogs'/'My Dog enjoyed it' are making me question my life choices :'( , I've been buying these to spread the marrow on toast and boil the remaining bone into broth, they're delicious and I've only once received an 'empty' bone, select 'no substitutions' or else you may get a similarly named meatless and marrowless beef bone

Not my thing.
Well, I thought I would give this a go and roasted it in the oven. Just came out greasy and couldn't really do anything with it except make a bit of lard. Keep it raw and give it to the dog. I might have been better to boil it for stock, though other bones with meat on would work better and be better value.

Too good for dogs
Dear dog lovers, please stop buying all of the bones , so when I want to make my bone broth it won’t be out of stock. Thank you…
