Le fait que je dors par intermittence; me permet de me situer plus dans le temps et de savoir qu'elle journée nous sommes. Je suis moins mêlée. Hahahaha! Mon premier achat fut pour un membre de ma famille. J'ai tellement aimé cette horloge numérique que je m'en suis acheté une pour moi. Maintenant, je ne suis plus mêlée dans le temps et je trouve que ça peut-être un bon apprentissage pour les tous petits. Très bonne invention.

This clock is very good for my senior father. Bright and clear. Easy to set and hang up. We are not using the alarms . My only complaint would be that the clock had a central point for hanging but the power cord went down one side causing it to hang crooked. Easily fixed by attaching the cord to the wall.

Fonctionne très bien, bonne luminosité mais nous devions pouvoir personnaliser les textes des alarmes, ce qui est impossible avec cet appareil.

Bought this for my dad, who is slowly tumbling down the dementia trail. He absolutely loves it. It does run a few seconds fast, but he doesn't mind - he keeps his watch set 5 minutes ahead. After using it for awhile, he asked for me to turn on the hourly chime, and while he (and his cat) are now used to it, I still find it jarring. It has one volume setting - and that's almost ear splitting (so loud the sound of the chime is actually distorted.) However, everything else is just great. Has definitely helped him keep track of what day it is, so he knows which PSW he should expect, and so on. If it ever comes down in price, I might buy him a second one to see from his spot at his dining room table - for now we have it set beside his TV - perfect for all those times he falls asleep and spends all night there. At least when he wakes up, he know where he is and how much time has passed; this was a problem before we got the clock.
