PAVOI14K Gold Plated Cubic Zirconia Cuff Earrings Huggie Stud

I have very sensitive ears. Very sensitive. These don’t bother me. I can wear them all day and night. I started with one pair and loved them so much I had to get another pair.

The earrings look nice, but once locked on ear, it took over an hour, pain, blood, and my husband to get off. There was no way to open, and it’s too small to get a good grip to even really yank. Ended up with sore ear and almost a torn lobe. I contacted them and told them latch was defective, and they said they’d replace. That was about three weeks ago. No replacement, no apology.

***update****After the pavoi huggies failed me, and started itching (see explanation below) I bought very similar huggies, 6 mos. ago, in rhodium silver (white gold) from a company here on amazon called Jewlpire. The overall construction and quality are better with the Jewlpire, in my opinion, than the pavoi hoops. I have heaped the same daily abuse on these as I did the pavoi hoops....but the Jewlpire hoops don't itch!!! I have worn them daily, sleeping, showering etc. I have typically only taken them out to clean them every few days. They have held up beautifully. I would recommend the Jewlpire over these hands down. ESPECIALLY because, most importantly, they don't itch! And the price is comparable.***update****After HEAPS of abuse and 24/7 wear the rhodium plate has started to wear on the posts of these earrings. This is to be expected after months of continuous wear. This tells me that the plate was nice and thick to begin with, which is awesome at this price point. This, in and of itself, is not surprising, or even a problem for me. The surprising thing is that once the rhodium coating began to fail on the posts my ears began to itch. I can wear silver jewelry, and surgical steel with no problem, but costume jewelry made with pot/base metal makes me itch like the dickens. In the listing pavoi says they use Sterling as a base metal, but in the drop down product info the metal is listed as "base". So...a bit confusing. At this price you could just buy a new pair every month, but I am going to try to find a new favorite earring with silver or surgical steel base. My original 5 star will be revised to 3 because they are still good little earrings, and if you don't have sensitive ears, they are great little earrings!****I waited to write a review on these lovelies, because I wanted to see how they held up to regular wear, and abuse. Out of the box they are beautiful and delicate....just what I wanted. With daily (nearly constant) wear for the last two months the finish is holding up spectacularly! They are tiny, and do not have stabby exposed posts, so they are even comfortable to sleep in. On me, the bottom of the hoop grazes the bottom of my earlobe. I bought these to replace 9mm solid gold huggie hoops that I loved for years ...until I lost one. My old 9mm hoops had a rounded earwire, and these have a straight earwire. I believe these are listed to be 10mm but because of the straight earwire they actually fit just a scosh smaller than my old 9mm hoops. The clasp on these pavoi hoops is excellently made. They close with a solid click, and I have never had them open unexpectedly. The hinge is solidly made, and the straight earwire makes them easy to put in your ear. I have worn them awake, asleep, in the shower, at the gym...and they have held up to all of the abuse heaped upon them. No missing CZs, no peeling finish, no itchy ears. I will be buying all the colors! As an added bonus, these little suckers are solidly made, and beautifully finished all the way around... so....you can flip them around and wear them the opposite way if you are not in the mood for CZ sparkles. These are a FRACTION of the cost of the earrings they are replacing, and I like them better!

The picture shows the posts as being gold plated. They are not, they are sterling silver. Which gives my ears an allergic reaction. I only ordered these because the picture shows the posts as being gold. Im not happy at all.

**Update: I cannot get these out of my ears like several other buyers have reported. Going to have to have wire cutters to get them out. Just don’t buy them.These are an excellent purchase. I initially bought them for my top cartilage piercings. I switched one from a stud to this huggie and as you can see it works, but is slightly bigger than I wasted for that hole. However, it fits nicely between my first and third piercings on my ear lobe. So, it’s a win. Wanted to show the size when they’re in the bottom holes vs the cartilidge. Love love love these. Excellent ship tome, excellent packaging. Would also make a great gift!

I have a couple of extra piercings in one ear and have been looking for something semi-permanent for them, but post earrings would either poke when I slept or get caught on clothing/towels/etc. I wanted earrings I could put in and forget about them, and these little hoops are perfect. They are small but beautiful, and have no sharp edges to catch on anything. They are very secure, and I don’t even notice them when I sleep or towel my hair. They look classy and will go with just about any other earrings I choose to wear. Perfect!

I’m in love with my new cuff earrings. They fit and look perfect. I wanted something not too flashy, big or thick but pretty for every day use. These can go on for any occasion to fancy from just being at home. They are small and thin perfect for toddlers, kids and adults with small ears. I have small ears that are not thin but not thick. They fit just right. They don’t snap off as easy as most cuff earrings which I love love love since I’m always loosing an earring. I tried them on my 15 month old daughter and plan to order three more pairs for both of my toddler girls, and another pair for my second ear lobe piercing. Highly recommend. I plan to gift these for the ladies in my family too! I will update once I see how they hold up.

Unfortunately one of the earrings clasps are faulty. It closes, but is loose so although you can clip it shut, it probably won’t stay on. Also, the earrings were labelled “huggies” but they seem a little big to me. I was looking for something a little more demure and soft and they’re pretty thick and a little chunky if that makes sense. Kind of sad, wanted to love these! Will probably be returning them.

Looks good on, the inside of the earring is scratched and looks A bit tarnished but this is not visible when the earrings are on. Stones are quite shiny and doesn’t look cheap. I have really sensitive ears, and haven’t worn earrings in a while so feels a little stingy at first but will update if there’s discolouration or inflammable on my ear lobe!

I bought the plain yellow gold huggies (Same brand and seller) a few months back and loved them so I decided to order these expecting them to be similar.What I got was nothing like I expected them to be. They are much larger, thicker, and a much deeper gold.They are not a huggie at all and seem very chunky in the ear. As well as having only 5 jewels on each while the photos of the product show them to supposedly have many more.Also, one clasp is broken and will not close.

These were just as advertised but one wouldn’t close. I was so disappointed. I messaged the seller and they said that they will send me another pair for free. I thought that was great customer service. I can’t wait for them to come in.

These are pretty glitzy for me, but I like them. I agree with some of the other reviewers...they are very tricky to close......Took me awhile.The measurements the seller gives are accurate. Just got them yesterday, so I may wear them for awhile and see how they do. They were so hard to close, I don’t plan on taking these out for awhile.
