Global Michel Roux Jnr Selection 11cm All-Purpose Knife, CROMOVA 18 Stainless Steel, with Leather Sheath, Silver, GS-70/SH

I have been a chef for about 20 years or so and used global knives for nearly as long, so I more or less swear by them as part of my job. I bought this knife about a month a go and have been using it at work, it was a bit weird at first because of the shape of the blade I must have nicked myself a few times before I got used to it and now I love it, it was very sharp out of the box. It is a versatile knife and can be used for quite a lot of jobs from basic veg prep to fine decorative work with vegetables or fruit for buffets for function. I like the leather sheath that comes with it, it makes it a lot safer to transport from home to work as well as stopping your knife case from being cut up in transit ( I think all global knives should come with a leather sheath ). Again I love the knife. I recommend getting some decent wet stones and a leather strop for sharpening and a extra fine diamond steel or a ceramic sharpener for touching it up.

A good, strong, sharp knife. Is fit for lots of kitchen requirements. Handy to have in a bag for when you're eating al fresco. Would make a great gift for a foodie or an adventurer.

This is a great knife for the kitchen it’s not cheap but look after it and it will last very sharp and fits my wife’s hand perfectly she’s tried several but it’s the best it doesn’t take much to clean and just make sure you don’t throw it in with your other knives and if it’s possible cut on a wooden board
