A jag is superior to an eyelet when cleaning your firearm barrel. Since the jag is completely wrapped in the patch there is no chance of metal on metal contact. The jag also pushes more surface area of the patch against the barrel than an eyelet. This jag in particular has a nice long design so you will utilize the most amount of patch possible. As a result, you can clean you firearm barrel faster with fewer patches.

I bought this to replace one that I broke. It arrived on time and as described. I would recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from the seller again!

Its a Jag its good! Safer to push patches through your rifle than using the eye. Early on before I knew about this I scratch my shotgun barrel trying to push an eye through the barrel with a wad of patches. So same concept with the rifle if the patch is off to the side and your rod is against the barrel you will scratch it. With the jag its centered. Great!

it's pretty tight in my 270 so you can't use large patches but thin or small patches work well
