Superb quality and Versatile!!
WOW!! This Babyletto Maki folding crib is fantastic, especially for grandparents who babysit. Being able to fold and store was what sold me on this product. It was easy to assemble. The directions suggest two people to put together, but I was able to do it all on my own. YAY! I love the wheel feature. Makes it very convenient and easy to wheel the folded crib in a corner of a room or into a walk in closet. The wood is gorgeous and smooth. I recommend the natural wood because there is no worry about paint chipping. My granddaughter has already used crib, and it worked perfectly for us. Highly recommend.

Quality Product
The "portable" crib arrived this afternoon. I purchased this for a grand baby visit coming up. The first thing I was impressed with was how well packaged the crib was. There was a lot of styrofoam padding all around and in between the pieces. As I was taking the pieces out of the box I was also immediately impressed with the overall appearance of quality. I am a late-60's grandmother and I got to work assembling the bed. All the required pieces were provided, along with two extra wheels and 2 small locking washers. The only thing you need is a phillips-head screwdriver. I admit it took me several minutes to read through the assembly directions; there are a few printed words in English and French and a lot of pictures. Once I understood the picture logic it was easy to put the crib together; it took me about an hour. Putting the crib together I again was impressed with the quality of the product; all the holes lined up and all were neatly drilled. The paint was nicely applied. The crib is VERY sturdy. In fact once you insert the mattress platform and screw it down to secure it, this crib will not fold. Honestly this crib could be used as an everyday crib. It will fold easily, once the mattress platform is unbolted. That is one small downside I did not anticipate as when you want to collapse it, you will have to be sure to keep the platform bolts. If you were unconcerned about the extra stability the bolts provide, you could just position the platform in the crib without the bolts. But the small downside I mentioned is more than overcome with the solid stability of the crib. This crib is well worth the extra money over some other "portable" cribs when you read their reviews on workmanship and quality.

Best quality pre-fab portable crib on the market
This is the perfect portable crib for a grandparent's house, and quite frankly, this could also be a permanent bed for an infant/toddler. This unit is VERY well made and was incredibly well packed. The finish and fit could not be better. Like in earlier reviews, the instructions rely on pictures rather than words and pictures, but it all made sense and was easy to assemble. Took no more than an hour. It was easy to store in the closet. The unit, when assembled is pretty heavy. The mattress board will need 2 people to fit it inside the crib, as it is an exact fit and it can't be installed at an angle. I could not be more pleased with this product, even though it is more expensive than most cribs. IT DOESN'T COME WITH A MATTRESS BTW!!! I wish they had said there was no mattress in clear language. I can afford another $200 mattress, but a young couple may not.

Perfect!
Gorgeous color, not horrendous to assemble even with crappy instructions. Easy to collapse which is the point. Sturdy. Good purchase.

Love this Crib
I read a lot of reviews on this site about this crib. Thank you all for posting, It is a beautiful, sturdy crib! We received it quite late due to the Wild Fires, but it was well worth the wait. My husband who "hates" putting things together, raved about how easy this was to complete and he did it alone in about an hour. No issues with the parts or pre-cut holes. It is perfect for our grand babies who come for extended stays. And I can store it when we have guests without kids. VERY PLEASED!**This is our 4th crib for grandkids, often then passing them on to their parents when a 2nd baby comes. This is by far my favorite. And it won't be going anywhere ;D

Great and safe baby crib
Had a little trouble seating one screw. Need two people for the final assembly. But crib looks great, very sturdy. Love the conversation side rail for toddlers.

Perfect for foster parents!
As new foster parents we needed a very specific crib to be able to accommodate our needs. This review is written for other foster parents, so I’m going to be pretty specific about our setup. We have a three bedroom house with a twin bed in each room. We need 40 square feet per child, so we can have three kids. With our age range we needed a flexible option for the crib so that it could be stored away when not in use (for non-foster parents, you cannot have anything in the room that isn’t for the kids who live in the room). We also needed a toddler bed for the same reasons. The best solution for us was to have a folding crib that converts to a toddler bed. There are plenty of folding cribs, but they either convert to a twin or full bed, and we don’t have room for an extra twin or full bed in either of the kids’ rooms. This is where this crib is AMAZING! It is literally the ONLY crib that converts to a toddler bed AND folds away for easy storage.Setting up the bed initially is easy BUT the instructions are not the best. They are just pictures with very few words and I was confused with a few of the steps. I’m pretty handy and figured it out, but it would be helpful if they updated their instructions to be more specific.Converting the crib to a toddler (and vice versa) takes about 15 minutes. It’s a little more cumbersome than I’d like for it to be and it’s a lot easier with two people. I did convert it from a crib to a toddler bed on my own, but it was more frustrating than it needed to be.I cannot speak to the quality of the bed long term, but so far it’s been great!Oh, and for those of you who might be foster parents who also don’t have bio kids, they make 2-in-1 mattresses. One side is for babies (extra firm) and one side for toddlers (firm). I did a lot of research when picking ours out and made sure to get a high quality mattress that also tells you which side is for babies and which is for toddlers to avoid confusion.
