It is cotton. There is no padding or anything. Feels lik ther is some sort of material beneath the first layer. Anyways absorbs a some damness. Top layer remains dry itself. Not suitable for medium flow as they claims. I use this panty for my last two days of my period.

This is a panty you can use with pads but definitely no use as a stand alone period product. It has no absorption, not even for last day of low flow.It runs at least one size small. I ordered my regular size it was too tight, one size bigger would have been better, probably even two sizes bigger if using alone with pads.

As someone with very heavy flow, this is the best product ever.Pro: wide crotch and back area. Soft fabric, soft waist band and overall cotton feel which is what is needed during periodsDoesn't bunch or fold too much even while wearing pads.Reaches upto three fingers below belly button which is decent coverageEasy to wash and dryCon: if you wear it without pads, you should change the underwear at regular intervals during heavy flow days. Even if it doesn't get wet and soggy, It's still soaking up all that blood so it will stink. Hence need to change regularly. No need to change if you're wearing pads.

Worst thing about this product is that it is not returnable. Even though I have ordered the correct size following size chart, the product was not of proper size. It runs small and goes tight. It is of no use for me now. I asked them for exchange, they said it not returnable and not even exchangeable. Even though it is non returnable product, it should be exchanged with another size in case of size issue. But they didn't do it. Size absolutely runs small, please do take care of the size u order. Now those panties of no use for me, my money got wasted entirely.

Comfortable to use during periods with pads to avoid any stains at night...Also can be used without pad on very less flow or spoting.

Good product though
