The first sponge was flawed and fell apart in a month; I sent in photos and they immediately replaced it and that has lasted three months and is still very intact. For such a large sponge, it is very strong and soft. Highly recommended!

This is a great sponge! I thought it would be too rough on my skin but it is so soft. I wasn’t sure about the size but for me the x-large is just the right size. I am very pleased! I would buy this again, either for me or for someone as a gift.

Exactly as ordered. They last a long time and hold a large amount of water and soap. I’ll be reordering soon. I’ve tried others only to have them fall apart. I would recommend this.

I love the shape and size of this sponge! I was pleasantly surprised with it after receiving some others that were disappointing. I've used it a few times and it seems to be holding up well. If something changes I will edit my review. One thing I will say however, there did seem to be a lot of sharp "marine debris" in this one. I spent about 10 minutes soaking it in the sink and pulling out lots of shards of shells and whatever grows inside sea sponges. I even found a cute little snail shell. The extra attention to it was worth it through for such a nice sponge.

This sponge is elegant. Provides volumes of lather with very little body wash. And what’s wonder is how much water it holds, which makes squeezing out for rinsing myself in the bath a luxurious experience.

I grew up in Tarpon Springs, the once sponge capital of the world. This sponge is at least a wool sponge. That’s good. Sponges have a grading system. There’s 2 broad categories, shapes ( or maybe forms, I don’t remember) and cuts. Cuts means that an irregular sponge was cut to a more usable shape. This sponge is probably somewhere in the middle of the cuts category; so not high quality even for a cut, which also means less durable. My former sponge lasted about 15 years bailing water that the pump can’t get from my boat.
