Works perfectly
5 stars for this product. I was skeptical first before purchasing this. I tried this on free dish STC box and it worked perfectly on 720 and 1080p. No issues faced. I would recommend this to everyone who wants to convert your unused monitor into a TV. The hdmi takes care of audio routing as well so your inbuilt monitor speaker works as well. Don’t forget to power this devise else it won’t function. I used a powerbank as a temporary solution.

Works as expected
I use it to play nintendo wii on my TV. It requires a power connection to power it. But other than that it's good.

Poor quality output.
Marketed as an HDMI converter, it doesn’t convert the output to HDMI quality. It gives a very poor quality output with audible interference. Would never recommend to anyone.

Very nice product
Easy to use.Picture quality is excellent.Video from DVD player started immediately after I press HDMI 2 option on my android TV.

Only option available for VGA to HDMI upscale; however there is be Audio Lag
It worked when VGA Yellow Cable was attached - HOWEVER - there as audio delay, means the picture moves faster and audio comes later, so we compromised, and decided not to connect red and white connector of VGA cable to adapter, and used only for video upscale. So buy it, only if you are OK with this limitation of this product.

Working as expected
I used it to connect our vintage video game to smart TV with hdmi. Works as expected. Value for money.
