Electrostar EMUs

Was very disappointed in this book. From the description I had expected a meaty book about the Electrostars themselves and an account of their development and introduction. However, this book is just a fairly thin, fairly small (about 90 pages, A5 size) picture book. The content is limited to about a page and a half of text and the rest of the book is just photographs, two to a page with brief captions.Very disappointing - returned my copy immediately.

Underwhelmed, regrettably. This is just a book of photos. Whilst the actual pictures are quite good and reflect the range of Electrostars in service it is disappointing that the chapters on each variety is not preceded by the relevant technical information. Alo there are no photos of the interiors.

Brought this for my train crazy son, he loves it. Mostly pictures which is perfect for him.
