Nice iPad case
I purchased this iPad case because a coworker had it and I immediately became obsessed with it although she did love hers. I did not like that. I didn’t have the ability to close it or cover it that it just remained open while in the case otherwise it’s a great case it’s high-quality and a good deal.

Big Mistake
I had been looking for a durable case with a shoulder strap. I research things to death before purchasing them. I watched several videos and read reviews. Overwhelmingly, people loved this case. I do not and hope I can return it. I have had it for less than 2 days and hate it so much, I went back to my basic flip over case which barely will stand. It was difficult to put together. My iPad Pro 12.9” was a bit difficult to line up properly in the bottom case, only because there is a little extra room for a couple other features. You have to be careful to get the buttons aligned properly so a plastic piece can be engaged the from the outside button which will be covered by the silicone piece. With the case on, the buttons felt Ike they were in a difference place, almost further toward the middle than they are. I probably would have adjusted to that with time.I also found it difficult to get the plastic shells aligned to snap together. And…don’t get me started on the difficulty attaching the strap to the case! Also, if you don’t want to use the strap, you have two pieces hanging off the case. Those remain on the case so you snap the rest of the strap to them. I found that I had to release the back grip strap to get the stand to open which it did with some difficulty. It wasn’t quick and easy to do and felt like it would easily break. Now the biggest reason, I dislike this case is that the bezel makes it EXTREMELY difficult to navigate the iPad. This iPad works with touch. You swipe up from the bottom to gain access to all your apps. The bezel interferes with this simple gesture and I have to try each swipe several times causing me to think I’ll never get to my apps. It also happens with the action navigator which comes down from the top.In its favor, the case is probably quite protective. The edges are high around the screen and the silicone cover is thick and seems very protective. But…what good is all that when you can’t use the iPad as it was designed to be used? So, after less than two days, I will try to get my money back from Amazon. I don’t have all the original packaging. I hope they will approve the return.

I don't like it, but here's why I'm keeping it
Full disclosure, no one gave me anything or influenced this review - I bought this case the other day for my new iPad, I was looking for secure and comfort; this seemed to offer that and function - delivered same day, lovely. Here's what I like about it -• It's thick, rigid and designed snug so it will absorb shock if dropped for sure• The plastic frame and rubber guts make a good tight fit, the material feels very durable• It accommodates the pencil nicely, I like knowing I'm not going to lose it• It has a swivel handle, that's a con and a pro; the pro here is I like the safety of holding that as opposed the iPad itself and it holds; but it's not so great; Here's what I don't like about it, and it's a killer for me -• The ridge bezels are so snug that it is impossible to swipe up from certain directions, I find myself having a hard time grabbing the little swipe tray to get notifications, control center and swiping apps - it's the most annoying with Safari where I cannot swipe back anymore as the gesture is obscured by how tightly fitting this thing is• It adds bulk, and a lot. It feels heavy, thick and gives it a strong weight - obviously the materials are good, so it's heavy, but man it's pretty thick I wish it was thinner somehow• The strap isn't easy to remove, so every time I lay the iPad on its back it's annoying because the strap gives it a nudge, like an incline, it feels like it's going to fall I don't like it; I can't use the stand while the strap is back there, I like the strap, but don't want to sacrifice comfort for it; it's just a weird design is all I am saying; for my taste I find it complicating things moreNow I will keep this case for my outdoor carry, certain events maybe - I feel like it will handle a good fall and won't crack, I am sure the functionality outdoors of a swivel and mount will come in handy as well. However, NO WAY am I going to use this all day, every day 100%; it would annoy my life. Too much comfort to sacrifice for security; it's overkill and not designed too well enough to be consumer friendly-easy in my opinion; I will still keep it, but just saying be aware that this isn't something you'd want on your device 24/7/365 without knowing you'll be sacrificing some levels of comfort; like the feel/weight and ability to use gestures easily, that KILLS me; no case should hinder gestures this thing literally covers the area which you need to touch to initiate a gesture for swipe; it's very poorly designed they should've put grooves for your finger to slide out from..Hope they learn from this review and make it better in the next version (if they make one)

Good case for kids
The case itself is holding up VERY well. My son has had it on his tablet for 6 months or so. The kickstand sucks though. Don’t expectable to last long.
