Hands down the best hose I’ve had, no more hose reels that get all tangled and kinked. Perfect for a quick plant watering or clean up from kids on the patio.

We use our hose attached to the side of our house to wash cars, water the plants, etc. Originally, we purchased a heavy duty hose from the Home Depot and after a few years the hose started cracking/leaking. We decided to purchase this hose as a replacement and was not disappointed. The overall hose with attachments are cheaper than the original hose from the hardware store.Here are the pros:- Extends 3x the idle length so it doesn't look 100ft at first.- The nylon like woven hose makes it not easy to tangle or get in a knot.- The hose is extremely light in comparison to the traditional heavy duty hose.- Comes with all the accessories a typical use would need.Here are the cons:- Since the hose does not have a real shape until water is flowing, the hose itself is flimsy and feels like your moving taffy candy. Its hard to wrap around in a circle or put back.- The attachments themselves work but the valve to shut off and on the water feels backwards (personal preference).- Theres a bit of a delay between when the water turns on to actually being able to use the hose as the water expands the hose.

Bought this in June 2020 and I'm so pleased.So much so I just purchased another one for my front yard and recommended it to others.Pros:1) Small and compact when water is turned off2) I would say it's truly 100 ft since it reaches the end of my backyard.3) I can't express enough how lightweight it is. Dragging a standard 100 ft hose hurts my back but no issue with this hose. My grandson can even help with watering and moving the hose around the yard. You will be surprised how easy it is to maneuver this 100 ft hose.4) On/off valve is an added bonus. Since I have to reach the end of my backyard last year for newly planted shrub, it was nice to turn on the water, walk to the backyard with the hose and then turn the valve to the on position. Nice not to have to walk back to the house to turn off the water especially when taking the hose nozzle off or on or attaching it to a sprinkler.5) Very flexible. I don't get kinks in the hose. My faucet on the front of my house broke so it's nice to be able to drag the hose to the front of the house without fighting kinks.6) I haven't brought the hose in from outside since I purchased it. Still looks new. I have commercial hoses but they are heavy. They are 15 years old and still holding up. I hope this 100 ft lightweight hose does the same. I may start storing it in the Fall for longevity.Cons:1) The nozzle that came with it leaked the first time I used it this year. It's plastic and I didn't expect it to last. I should have stored it in the garage over the winter but I have better nozzles. I still gave the hose 5 stars because that it really why I purchased this item...for the hose.

UPDATED & DOWNRATED - I liked this hose so much I purchased another (shorter) one 3-4 weeks after purchasing this one. Well now, 2 years later, both of these have blown out. I took some scissors and opened up the hose and inside is a rubber 1/4 inch or so tube and the cloth covering is just there for looks (and to protect the rubber tube). When I pulled everything apart I found that the rubber tube had split near the center.So - from 5 stars to 3 stars. But guess what? I'm going to buy it again. I know it will only last a couple of years, and that's OK, the convenience of this lightweight hose makes it worth it.Original review from 2 years ago:I bought an expanding hose about 10 years ago, it was awful, and I promised I wouldn't make that mistake again. But we bought a new house and now need a 100 foot hose, so after much debate I decided to try this. This hose is great!When I first took it out of the box, I thought they had made a mistake and sent me a 50' hose. But nope, this is about 35 feet when retracted. Put water in it though and it expands to the full 100 feet. It's fun to watch it grow when you turn on the water with the end valve turned off. Conversely, it's fun to watch it retract itself when you turn the water off. There's also a handy well designed hose hanger that slips over the hose bib at your wall.The color matching spray nozzle is a nice addition. The brass fittings at each end are solid. Don't know that I need the shut off valve at the male end, but it's nice to have if I ever do need it. There's also a carrying sack, but not sure I will ever want to take the hose with me on vacation :-)Pros: Lightweight, brass fittings, shut off valve, color coordinated sprayer (not sure why that tickles me so much), and the hose hanger.Cons: None I can see or feel, although the instructions do say to not drag the hose over rough concrete.

I have two really bad shoulders so lugging around a traditional heavy hose is so difficult and painful for me. When I saw this particular hose, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised when this hose lived up to actually performing better than I had expected!!!This hose is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the best part is - it does NOT kink!! We’ve used this hose for a little over a week, and have hauled it all over the property. We have a fairly large property and currently we have hoses all over it. I hate to look at them laying all over. Nobody really likes rolling up long heavy kinked hoses so they are an eyesore. This is going to afford me the opportunity to do what I want and at the end of the day actually bring the hose back up to the top of the hill and leave it there neatly coiled. There is no way that I can lug traditional hoses around so we had to have quite a few of them. I’m trying to minimalize my life and that even includes not having as many hoses all over.A really nice feature on this hose is there is an open and close function at the end of the hose. This is so convenient and so much better than having to constantly run back-and-forth to the faucets. The thing I am so excited about is this hose truly does NOT kink!!! I’ve had many hoses over the years that claimed to not kink but they ALL did - but this one does NOT!!!❤️Included with the hose is a nine function sprayer. I love the sprayer, and with nine settings you can do so much with it. It appears to be well-made, sturdy, and ergonomically designed.Included in this bundle there is a hanger to coil the hose around and get it up and off of the ground. That has always been one of my pet peeves. There’s always been super heavy long hoses just left on the ground anywhere and everywhere because they were such a pain to coil up so normally they just got left on the ground. I hate that! I am going to love this!! I’m so excited about a hose that’s really only 33 feet long, lightweight, easy to maneuver, and does NOT kink - yet inflates to 100 feet!!! And the best part is I’ll be able to do it myself without pain!!Lastly, also included is a carrying bag. This would be great for someone that travels in a motorhome, or maybe you like to put all of your gardening items totally out of sight. No matter what - great accessory!!In conclusion, this hose truly performs better than I had even expected!! I couldn’t be happier!! With this lightweight hose that’s easy to maneuver and doesn’t kink, I’m finally going to be able to take care of things that I haven’t been able to in such a long time because of my shoulders!! And I have to admit, it’s quite fun watching the water inflate the hose and then letting it drain out and watching it deflate 🤣🤣. I guess I’m easily amused but it makes me laugh! Laughter is good for the soul and right now we all need more if it!! We will be purchasing more of these hoses to replace our others as they wear out.
