This was a bolt on replacement for the 45 year old Craftsman motor. There is a printed sheet with 110 and 240v wiring instructions as well as how to switch to clockwise rotation. Things to know: The instructions show blue and brown wires. Blue is neutral (white) and brown is hot (black). Also, the original belt guard won't work. You'll have to come up with a substitute. I added a qworks cast iron pulley, another upgrade. Another will go on the arbor. It spun right up, and after aligning the belt the saw is smoother, quieter and more powerful than ever.

On time and as advertised. This was a replacement for my table saw motor. I did have to modify the junction box to fit my saw. In the end, it works perfectly.

Don’ buy this motor. Not sure if I just got a lemon but the first one I bought of this type lasted one year from date of install this one failed in one month. I purchased these for my Car Wash so they might sit in my garage hopefully long periods of time. The one I am calling about now I installed August 25, 2025 and it failed September 26, 2025.. obviously the motor looks brand new and should certainly last more than a month.

Fit my Craftsman 315.228410 table saw without much drama. Thanks to the folks who explained the wiring colors, hooking it up was a breeze to the original wiring. I had to convert it to CCW after I hooked it up, but that is also super easy. My poor saw has more replacement parts than original ones, and hopefully this will keep it going for years to come!

Connected to my 20 year old Ridgid contractors table saw. Very good wiring instructions made it simple to set up as 115 or 230 volt and connect to the saws cord as clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. Seems to run well and fairly quiet.

Fit perfectly as a replacement on my Craftsman table saw. Was concerned the mounting bracket holes would not line up, but it worked perfectly. Same voltage/amperage, horsepower and RPM as the original motor. Saved my 20 year old Craftsman tablesaw! Excellent replacement motor, check that, perfect!

This is a very well made motor. I used it to replace burned out 50 year old original motor on my Sears Craftsman table saw. There is one major issue with the "manual" they supply; a one page instruction. They show how to wire a power cord with Line 1 with blue power cord wire, Line 2 with brown wire. The word Hot or Live and Neutral are missing!!! The motor wires are 2 groups of 3 each and all are black. They do explain that to set the motor for Clockwise direction requires reversing 1 wire from each group. That's fine. I have done electric wiring for over 30 years and never knew that China, UK and Europe use Brown for Hot/Live and Blue for Neutral! Hope this helps people buying this motor. I saw other comments by buyers before I bought this and they had similar info and had very good success once they figured it out.
