I use these in several places around the house! Kitchen island for hot plates out of the oven or microwave. On top of the dryer, because that seems to be my work area for repairing stuff. On my oak desk as protection from spills and scratches. On my dining room table under my sewing machine. Great protection, great price, easy to clean. I purchased the Blue, beautiful!

We're pleased with this mat - we use one as a counter mat and one as a crafting mat. In use for approximately 6 months. Reasonably thick and sturdy while still being flexible.Purchased "clear" which is really more "translucent whiteish". Only drawback is that it's not as easy to wipe off crumbs or whatever compared to most countertop materials. Inherent to the rubbery nature of the product, I think.About to buy another, so I was checking recent reviews and realized I hadn't left one.

My item came rolled up in a box inside of another box and absolutely NO CREASE. Very protected. I am confused by so many of the other reviews where they received their item folded with a crease. Mine laid flat immediately.

We have an older.....to put it romantically....."farmhouse". It's not romantic. It was for sure on a very large farm but it isn't close to what you envision! LOL! Anywho, everything is crooked, leaning, not square, has gaps, needs duct tape or more caulking!The kitchen was no exception. My incredible fiance remodeled one room every time I traveled to take care of my Mom who was sick at the time. The kitchen was a huge challenge because everything was pieced together and it was tough to make it close to even. The original counter was a big homemade job and it was sturdy so he used that as a base. Except that the top was just a generic wood and wasn't really conducive to a real kitchen counter. Laminating or something other would not have been cost effective and, again, everything isn't even or has dents and bumps. I looked and looked. I gave up and then started looking some more. I came across these and was completely skeptical, BUT the fact that it came in a roll, is a huge size, and I could cut it to fit was the kicker! NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! It is just a tad thinner than I would like but it's sufficient. It cleans easily and even though I haven't tested it to the point of putting a hot pan on it, I am comfortable that if the pot slide off the potholder and onto it that it would all be good! There was no lingering smell when it first arrived. It came well packaged. If you are looking to cover a counter, sideboard or something other (I used a cut strip of it on the back edge of the freestanding sideboard cabinet to put the container of dog treats, was warmer, etc.) this is the thing to buy!

I’m giving it 5 stars because I liked everything about it, except the color. The description stated it was clear. It’s not. It’s white. I bought it because I thought it was clear. So that’s why I’m returning it.

I have 4 other silicone mats from another company that work great in all aspects to protect my white quartz countertops. I purchased this one because it was the largest one I could find so that I could place my Bunn coffee maker on it and cups without having a crack in between 2 mats where crumbs and sugar find it's way. I've been using it for 6 days and the crease down the middle where it was folded (not rolled for shipping) is still there eventhough I've had heavy glass jars on it for days. It is now stained by mustard and I can't get the stain out. The other mats I have do not stain at all and have had berries, glass marker, mustard and various other items come in contact without staining. Overall the only thing I like about this mat is the size. It doesn't wipe off as easily as the other mats and it's not as translucent, but it does stay in place well. Final Assessment: Positives: stays in place well and great size. Negatives: easily stains, hard to wipe off, fold still present down middle of mat after 6 days, ends lift up don't lie flat. It's usable, not likeable.

Very happy with this purchase. Works great on my extra wide counter top stove. As you can see I cut out some space for the knobs, which was also very easy to do. I love that it protects the surface from scratches, is heat resistant so I can place hot stuff from the oven onto it. Wipes clean easily.

Purchased for my daughters counters as am extremely happy with my previous purchase of this item.

The non slip ‘bumps’ on the back side of the mat show through the front side! Mat is not smooth like shown in photos.

The width was correct but I would have liked it a bit narrower (or maybe made to order with exact measurements). I work around it however and it's not the end of the world.

I bought these to use at tables at a farmers market. They do the job perfectly.
