Honeywell FC200E1011 MERV 13 Pleated Air Filter, 20" x 20" x 4" (Pack of 2)

This is the filter needed for a Honeywell enviracaire ELITE system. I have an F200E 1011 cabinet which accepts a 20" x 20" x 4" filter. Different cabinets have different dimensions. This filter is not for your casual consumer. Typical household units use 1" thick filters where these 4" ones will not fit. A DIY person could probably retrofit a 1" inlet to accept these 4" filters. These larger filters last longer between changes and have lower pressure drop for a comparable filtration rating, which also makes them quieter.I have a unit upstairs and downstairs so the 2-pack is just right for me. Because of the long time in-between filter changes (>4 months, 6-12 months as stated by manufacturer), hoarding extra filters is probably not necessary. The 4" filters are also pricey compared to their 1" cousins. But because you need fewer filters per year, the total cost comes out to about the same.These are MERV 13 rated, Honeywell has a lower quality Merv 8 rating filter and also higher MERV rating to remove smaller particles: pollen, allergens, etc. Choose the MERV rating that suits your air quality needs and wallet as long as you have the right dimensions L x W x H.Other than its size, it is like any other air filter and can fulfill the same roles in similar applications.

Fits well, does a great job filtering dust and even germs. But if the competition made one in the right size, I’d go to them, because three or four companies make much more-affordable robust MERV13s filters. I only buy these because they’re the only ones I can find in this actual size.

Item was destroyed by manufacturer and amazon still mailed it along with only one of the two. Amazon did not help with replacement

These worked great. They are the perfect fit for our unit. They are much cheaper through Amazon than I could find else where online. We change ours 1-2 times a year depending on how dirty they get so the two pack is great. We have a spare on hand. If these fit your unit I would recommend buying them. Just make sure you have somewhere to store the extra one they aren't small.

I am not quite sure what rating to give this product, since I did not get to actually try it. The filters are actually about 4 3/8" thick, not 4", and as a result will not fit in my system. Its MERV rating of 13 is excellent, and it certainly looks like an excellent product, but the extra thickness (not mentioned in descriptions of the product) are a deal-breaker for me. I will be sending this back and substituting it with the exact filter brand that was installed in my system initially.

These furnace filters are sold as a package or 2. I only received one.

This is the EXACT filter I need. HOWEVER, the order was for a 2-PACK, and ONLY ONE came. AMAZON CHAT was able to get me a 100% refund for the TWO FILTER order. SO - time to get the new order in.
