Review: This book was SO CUTE. I read most of my books on my kindle, but as soon as I finished IOU, I picked up a paperback copy to have on my bookshelf! It's a must read romantic comedy that had me smiling from ear to ear and even clutching my heart due to the swoon-worthy moments. To start, I LOVE Ainsley. I love that she isn't afraid to be herself, but also knows she needs to find who she really is after discovering her boyfriend doing the deed with her roommate. She also now needs to find a new place to live... enter Maverick. I LOOOOVE Maverick. Definition of swoon-worthy. He's that quintessential broody, quiet guy who hates almost everyone but her... when he finally can admit to himself that she doesn't quite annoy him like he thinks. Maverick is the IOU man on campus dishing out IOUs while always expecting something in return. When he can't find a place for Ainsley to live right away, he allows her to shack up with him. What was supposed to be for a short amount of time ends up going on for much longer... especially when Maverick isn't truly ready to find her a new apartment just yet. Their story has their ups and downs, with some twists along the way which I loved to read. Long story short, as soon as I finished this book I literally, out load (to the only person in my room - my dog), went "wow that was so cute!"
