Great product, easy to install and the power over Ethernet feature to only plug in one unit is great. It streamlines the installation. I plugged in the cables connected it to my transceiver and worked right out of the box.

I have a 50m CAT 6 cable over which i need to run a 4K30 feed over HDMI. I previously ordered the OREI EX230C, an analog balun extender but it failed miserably for the same task. This is a HDBaseT3.0 extender, which allows it to pass 4:4:4 4K60Hz signals reliably. Highly recommended for it price for a reliable, fuss free HDMI extension.

First of all, product is easy to setup, just works. I uses it to transmit hdmi to my projector. It went through my house in wall cables and patch panel. Basicly has 5 different Cat cables in total and there are no visible lag or anything. Roughly total 30-40 meters. Easy recommedations!

This is the second one I used of these units, and it worked out great for the application. I needed ARC and CEC for a remote Yamaha surround receiver up to the main TV. The unit is kind of backward in a traditional way, and the instructions leave you wondering on which end the receiver and transmitter hoes. The sample in the instructions shows the TV and receiver both on the same side and a remote blu-ray player on the transmitter side. 99% of the time, you are trying to push video from a receiver to the TV and send back CEC control and audio via ARC to the surround receiver. I am not going to have 4K video up to the TV, but wanted to leave that option to the home owner should he decide to get a Blu-ray or send camera video to his main TV.

I bought these to replace a different pair of HDMI extenders that failed. While these cost almost 3x what i paid for the previous pair, the picture quality is noticeably. Time will tell how durable they are. My only complaint is the extremely bright red power LED. My previous extenders had green LEDs that blinked amber when not connected. They were unobtrusive when in use. These stand out clearly and can't be turned off so I had to hide one and resort to a piece of electrical tape on the other.
